Love this little truck! I believe in being honest so we'll start with the bad and why it's still 5 stars.So the bodies are awesome looking, but why the just straight cut outs? Maybe there was an interference issue, which brings me to the other body criticism. The rear has the body as a stopper for suspension travel, it handles pretty well but that doesn't seem right. It's not super fast, but it's fun!Ok so the good, WOW! It's a quick little one with 2 cool looking bodies. They remind me of old creature monster truck bodies. On sale it is totally worth it for any age old enough to comprehend driving it (to me, speed knob can be turned way down). It lands right side up on most things and does a good job of not rolling over. Speaking of rolling, the body clips have rubber connectors mounted to the body and I love it! Never loosing a clip on this one. The shocks have no fluid but work extremely well, until a jump and the rear shocks run into the body. It really doesn't do anything negative and kind of works as a limiter but the sound... SMACK. Effective though. I didn't get it to do a wheelie to utilize the wheelie bar but maybe on some surfaces? It's Li-ion so it's not gonna have a super high top speed with the small connectors which are essentially the balance leads. Again, effective though remember adults it's meant as a kids toy but me and my adult friends had fun with it! It can do larger gravel, sand, asphault of course, grass... it's got the torque. Maybe not fast in taller grass but not much this size would be. I didn't test longer range but within 100 feet zero issues with no lag quick steering inputs. It's a fun little beast, great to get a younger child into the hobby. It just looks cool! I was using it mid Arizona day so I didn't notice the lights until I went to turn it off but I bet mid day it would look pretty cool. It's a few green lights from either side of the chassis so I look forward to night drives.I'm a big fan, the batteries lasted a good while with many full speed runs. It's just not that high output so it lasts, effective though. For fun!

The media could not be loaded. I was quite impressed, this little monster truck reminds me of a solid built RC hobby truck that I was into 30 years ago. The chassis the shocks the internals are really well put together solid unit. The body is just a simple vacuuming formed thin plastic, making it quite flexible and durable. This was meant to be a Christmas gift, but I’ve had so much fun trying it out I think I maybe keeping it for Old man kicks, Who knows I might find time to relax and enjoy. It has a really nice variable speed control plus you can set the speed from high to a low variable to give you time to practice which is really great for the kids, OK I lied me too. The thing really moves at full speed I was all over the place. I took it out to about 175 feet and it stopped I thought I lost connection but when I went down to get it I had not lost connection it had gotten a large stick wedged up underneath it and into the body, so I know it’s good for at least 175 to 200‘. It comes with a tool kit consisting of a socket wrench and screwdriver and a little brush for cleaning out the dust and a baggie full of extra nuts bolts and clips. any kid would love this, and it’s a great little launching ramp into the world of RC cars for them. And they give you to vacuum formed dinosaur bodies to choose from a purple one and a green one. I went for the green one reminded me of old monster movies. Oh and then there’s lights on it which are really cool at dusk. This definitely deserves five stars it’s way too much fun, fast as all get out and takes rough terrain really great. For getting you or your child foot in the door to the world of RC vehicles, I think this is a good value for the price. The build the variable speed and the responsive steering makes this enjoyable fun that will not be shelved quickly if at all.

This monster (or alligator?) truck has been fun. It’s easy to drive, quick to respond, and genuinely fun to use right out of the box. While it states that it hits 40 kph (around 25 mph), I’m not convinced it quite reaches that speed—though I don’t have a way to measure it. Still, it’s fast enough -- you can check out videos from other reviewers to get a better sense.I appreciate that it comes with extra stuff -- two batteries, spare parts, shells (more about this in a second), and tools, which will make fixing it when I crash it easier (which hasn't happened yet). Battery life seems solid. —I get plenty of run time before needing to swap. The interchangeable shell seems like it will be a smart touch -- as they (the two that it comes with) feels a bit delicate. Whether you want to switch up the look or replace a cracked shell, it’s nice to have options.The price seems a bit higher than it should be, but it does come with a lot of extras.

I am very impressed with this car. The quality is very good. Very well put together and ready to go out of the box. Be careful with the different shells – those are delicate. The rest of the car is sturdy and well built. The tires/wheels are good quality, soft rubber and have a great grip. They are not those plastic slick-bottom tires that spin out. These are all-terrain. The car has a fully functioning suspension. I’m also very impressed with the power this RC toy has. Tested the car in the house and the toy was powerful enough to be difficult to control inside. The real character came from outdoor testing. This car can GO! Tall grass, short grass, driveway, this car took all of the different surfaces with ease and without slipping or spinning out. The toy comes with two battery packs, which is a very nice touch. One can charge while the other is in use. Don’t think that because you get two battery packs that this car blows through the battery. The battery life is long. I ran the car hard over/full throttle for 20 straight minutes and then did several maneuvers. Full charge lasted nearly an hour of high-performance play. This is perfect for two kids because each one can have a fair turn. The price point is a little higher than similar toys, but you really get what you pay for out of this RC car. I highly recommend this toy.
