The direct descendant of our 1960s televised torture test survivors, today's Easy Reader is as durable as it is classically cool. Review: Good watch Wallahi - 👍 Review: Charming timepiece ideal for a busy teacher! Limited edition features are lovely. - I purchased this watch to have an easy to read dial to help my year 1 class (5-6 year olds) to tell the time with me when asking. I am a big watch fan and wouldn't wish to wear my more valuable pieces in a classroom. However, I still wanted something a bit different on my wrist. This anniversary edition offered enough nice touches to fulfill my needs. Clean dial, signed crown, hidden indiglow 40 in the dial and a nice red accent on the strap. A well designed piece that fits neatly under a shirt cuff. My only gripe is the low water resistance as I have to remove it during science experiments etc. My partner has tried on the watch on her small wrists and it wears well on her as well. A simple timepiece that will make you smile with its hidden indiglow 40!

Nice watch. Very clear dial
Lovely watch. The backlight is impressive. Very clear dial and nice packaging.

Great watch, but not in the dark
Brilliant size face, red second hand should be on ALL analogue watches, looks good to wear. But, in the dark the “40” figure confuses the reading and for my use severely hampered the night time reading.

Nice looking watch and easy to read
Bought for myself, female, so on the large side, but strap has plenty of holes in so does fit. Nice looking dial and easy to read,

Great quality
The listing’s image does not do this timex watch justice. Great quality band great quality watch. The indiglo feature is very useful. It is also a substantial watch - solid and has some weight. Fantastic value for money. My husband has decided to buy one too. Very happy.

I withdraw my last comment
There are no instructions with the watch and I expected it to glow automatically on the dark ( as the very early radioactive Timexes did) utube told me to hold the crown in And it glowed

It’s hard to think of a better value than this classic Timex design for $30 (Prime Day price). At 38mm, it’s the biggest size I can comfortably wear on my 6.5-6.75” wrist. It’s dressy enough to wear with a nice outfit, and it should wear in well enough to wear casually, too. The leather strap comes a little stiff, but that’s to be expected and should break in nicely. The hardware on the strap matches the case, a nice and shiny metal finish. The dial is a really nice deep blue and the numbers are easy to see. And the Indiglo is just so so easy to use. No need to worry about lume or other silliness—just press in the crown and the entire dial glows except the numbers and hands. The photo I posted makes the dial seem really textured. It is a little but less so than it appears in the photo. Overall, a terrific watch.

I like watches and own a number, the most expensive one costing over $3,000. This one was recommended in a men's magazine published in the USA and at an impossibly low price. It looked good in photographs. To my pleasure I found it even more keenly priced on Australian Amazon than in the USA. The watch is a convenient size, not too large but the time, date and second hand are all very easy to read. I chose the gold leaf version with its parchment coloured watch face. It looks traditional but smart. One unusual feature is that, with a press of the winder, a soft green light illuminates the face. This is really useful for checking the time in a dark space such a theatre or in bed. The watch also came with a high quality leather strap in a harmonising mid-brown colour. Unsurprisingly perhaps, it keeps excellent time. I can't recommend this too strongly.
