I did ALOT of research before biting the bullet on this truck tent. I ended up buying this one for price point, features, and let me just say that I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. If you love camping but hate dealing with uneven ground, this is the perfect solution. My girl and I both slept like babies.With that being said, allow me to go a bit more in depth:The Dreaded Setup:As we all know the setup and tear down is always the dreaded part of any camping trip, however, this was super easy to set up, even solo. The color-coded poles made it straightforward, and the tent fit my truck bed like a glove (I drive a 2017 Ford F-150 XLT with a standard 6.5-foot bed). It took me about 15 minutes to get it up the first time. HOWEVER, the instructions which are sewn into the storage bag (that's helpful if your like me and always loose them) shows it being setup in the back of the pickup. I actually set it up on the ground that easily moved it into the back of the truck where the only thing left to do was strap it down to the truck.How about the Comfort:Sleeping off the ground makes a huge difference. No rocks, roots, or damp ground to deal with. Plus, being elevated makes it feel safer and cleaner. The interior is surprisingly spacious—I’m 5'8 / 250lbs and had room to stretch out with a full-size air mattress. My partner and I both had plenty of room.How It Handles Weather:It held up great in the winds we had being on the lake, and the mild rain we had one day. The included rainfly provided good coverage, and no leaks got in. The windows and vents have excellent airflow, which helped keep things from getting muggy inside and me not sweating to death. :) We camped in E TexasSo, How is the Build Quality:The materials feel durable, and the zippers are strong and smooth. The tent attaches securely without scratching the truck, thanks to padded straps and thoughtful design.Lets Talk Convenience:It packs down small and fits in the included carry bag. Great for spontaneous road trips or off-grid camping without needing to tow a trailer or set up a traditional tent.My Final Thoughts:If you enjoy the outdoors and already own a truck, this tent is a no-brainer. It turns your pickup into a cozy mobile campsite and makes camping easier, cleaner, and more fun.

I bought this for my 6'2" son to use on his Dodge Ram. It fit perfectly on the bed. Best to set it up in bed if you're alone, one gust of wind and you're fighting a losing battle if you set it up and try to lift it in. Along with a self inflating mattress, a small folding camp table, and a chargeable fan/light that hangs from the ceiling there's still room for another person/pet OR some of your gear. Headroom of course isn't stand upable, but it's enough to get around in. It has good vents, and if you take care of it, it'll take care of you. Especially appreciated is the duffle bag it's stored in, it's got extra room so you don't have to know origami to get it back in when you're packing up camp.

This tent is a really cool concept, but if you are short, difficult to assemble. The instructions say to try assembling on the ground if doing it directly in the truck does not work. We tried both ways. Neiter were much easier than the other but on the truck, instructions did make the tent lay out smoother. When it came to standing it upright on the truck, it definitely needs two people. The biggest disappointment were the rods or polls that hold up the end umbrella portion. The way it was designed makes sense if the poles were to be put into the ground. But these were not long enough to go into the ground so the rest on the rear of the truck tailgate. This scratched the crap out of the new plastic liner of the tailgate. The opening of the tent needs to be a bit bigger or longer or something. The tent really got stretched at the seams putting it up. We are in our 50's and that was way more work than any tent we have ever owned. But it did look cool. Oh, and don't forget to bring a step to get up in the tent, we used the cooler.

My hubby & I love our new truck tent. Whoever designed it was genius! Plenty of space inside for 2 adults & a regular queen air mattress. We were unsure how it'd go until we assembled it & used it for the first time a month ago. Even though we didn't get it perfect during our first set up (in the dark), it kept us comfy & dry overnight during a light rain. Next time set up will be a breeze! Very easy to break down, roll up & repack in the included bag.Recently bought the umbrauto full size truck air mattress with pillows, so we're excited to try that out on our next camping trip.Overall, we're delighted with this purchase & have recommended it to our friends. If you're on the fence about it, just buy it - you'll likely love it as much as we do. Worst case, if you don't, simply return it. Easy peasy.
