I have 2 of these sweaters. Fabric is soft and stretchy. I haven’t had a problem with pilling. I machine wash them inside out in a lingerie bag. I take them out of the bag and dry them on low in the dryer. Yes, they shrink some but the medium was just a bit big on me so now it fits.

Arrived with the front of the sweater stained with what looked like food. Back was snagged.
