Does this kit require glue or adhesives?

No I didn’t need any kind of adhesives to assemble it, the only thing I needed was a wire cutter for two parts of the body, the neck and tail. Everything else connects very well with no need of glue or anything like that.

Does this figure need to be built piece by piece or is it just big parts that need to be put together.?

You will need nippers to cut the pieces out , this will need to be built piece by piece
