Did the trick for my application. Outdoor zoom presentation.
I used this in my setup for a zoom broadcast of a presentation being held outdoors. I used an iPhone wirelessly connected to my MacBook Pro as the zoom camera. I used this device for the audio. The microphone was a wireless mic for the presenter. I monitored the event using the headphones. To the Mac (and zoom), the device presented as "microphone" and "headphone". The sound quality is pretty good. It probably has lots of latency but I haven't tested that yet. And it's powered by the laptop which is what I needed as I didn't have any power sources.

Does not work with professional microphones.
You cannot use the Cubix microphone splitter with a professional microphone (e.g. Rode M3), even if the microphone is supported by your machine. If you do, when recording on a laptop you get a burst of noise every second. The problem is that the splitter seems to include active electronics. Get a passive splitter.

Awesome, but
As you see this item has its own gaining function which is unlike any other adapters and very cool but sadly didnt work on my Android device, NW-A107. It may work if i just mod the OS to allow external mics but its not that necessary if i had to kinda hack the entire system to make this thing work
