I have naturally curly grey hair and I have been struggling to find something that has a nice hold and is not heavy. This foaming gel is awesome on my mediumto fine hair. The scent is nice as well. It left my hair defined and soft but not overly conditioned. It was not weighed down and it wasn't "too soft" (some products are so conditioning that my curls will lose hold and elongate). I typically go for cheaper products (Aussie works great for me) but once I. A while I treat myself to a travel size more expensive product so I can try it out and see what results I get. With this purchase I feel its worth me saving money to purchase a full size. Good luck to others! If you have tight medium or loose curly hair you will love this.

This hybrid product feels very weird, I’ll be honest. But the weight and hold is perfect for my 2b/c waves. I use the verb leave-in conditioner first, then section my hair and apply this. Air drying or diffusing both leave me with a nice cast, little frizz, and good definition in my hair. I finish with the Verb ghost oil to scrunch out the crunch - hair looks beautiful, every time. My air type will only hold maybe 2 days with a re-fresh before I have to wash and style again. But I think the cast holds well enough over those few days.

I liked this product. It works great. No scent. Which was odd. It was expensive for what it is. I have 3 coils and they are very thick. I would not buy this again.

Love this foam for my fine curls as a refresh product. Doesn’t weigh down my hair or make it look greasy. Plus it smells great! Will continue to repurchase when on sale.

Great body for straight fine hair. Lasting curl

This was reformulated recently. It used to smell like grapefruit initially, then faded quickly. Now it smells like aquanet hairspray - or at least what I remember my sister's aquanet smelled like in the 90's. The reformulation did not help the consistency. It does not foam...just a sort of a wet ooze with a bubble or two. It will turn hard as it dries. Now the good - once it turns hard, I run my hands over it to soften it up and I have nice curls! Overall, it works and does not leave a noticeable residue in my hair after I de-crisp it.

This is my second bottle of the Curl foaming gel. I have thin, fine wavy/curly hair and this product does not weigh it down, but helps to enhance the curl while giving to body too. Easy to apply to my hands and work through my hair. I hand/scrunch curl while using a diffuser, but try to keep my hands off as much as possible. (Leaving it alone as much as possible helps prevent frizz). I just try to encourage the curl by lifting it with my fingers. The curl hold lasts all day or me. It smells awesome, fresh, Orange, citrusy. YUM

The old formula in the white, translucent bottle was my Holy Grail. This one is awful. I have a lot of hair, but the individual stands are fine, and it gets weighed down easily. Most curl products are just too heavy for me. The old formula held my curls and left my hair light and bouncy. This formula... I have tried. I have tried changing technique, using more, using less... It's heavy. By the time my hair is dry, it has been weighed down and looks flat. The cast is hard to scrunch out, and even then my hair looks straighter than if I used no product because it was being held down by this. If I use the tiniest amount, my hair looks good for the first half of the day, but then it starts to look flat and greasy. GREASY. And it's just gross feeling at that point. Kind of sticky and like I just don't want to touch it.
