Giant Jester Hat with Bells - 19" x 11", Multicolor - 1 Pc

I read all the reviews but ordered it anyway. It's made of stuff that isn't woven or felted. It's like that Post Office bag that the hat came in that doesn't look strong until you try to open it.I bought a $4 pillow from the dollar store and filled the arms with the batting. It went well and looks great.

I really like this hat. It's fun and looks cute on everyone! I just wish it were a bit stiffer so that it stood out/up more. But you can fill it with loosely crumpled paper towels or newspaper and fix that problem.

This was a surprise "present" for a coworker whose birthday is April 1.It arrived on time, made of inexpensive felt and constructed well. The little dingy bells on each point worked to delightful effect as the victim strode around the office for 1/2 a hour jingling to merriment all around.I stuffed those points with cheap batting that my wife's mom had had lying around for years. The material and seamery handled enough mechanical stress to fill out beautifully and I managed to get more-or-less the effect in the model photo with only a few minutes' effort. Sorry, y'all...I forgot to get a good photo (old guys forget we have cameras everywhere we go now).The victim good naturedly plopped this on his cubicle wall when the the joking was over, so we get a nice titter now and again.Superb value for the dollar.

If you want to look silly...this hat will do it.... I got many compliments on it...it's fun !

The hat is about what I expected it to be, but it is just simple felt. The price is a little high for what we got, but it will work fine for the costume my husband is planning. One thing to note is that the bells are LOUD. He is planning on wearing this at Disney World for the Halloween party, and with a lot of walking around, I decided to quiet them by placing bits of tissue into each one to stop the bells from clanking around. Also, the hat is pretty flat and doesn't look nearly as full in person as it does in the picture. I did as another reviewer suggested and stuffed it with plastic bags which fixed it but made it a little on the heavy side. My husband has an average size head (23 inches) and it was a little snug but fine for one night.

We need a jester's hat for a middle school play. This worked perfectly. I stuffed it with plastic bags (like Wal-mart or Target bags) and it held up great. The hat is made for an adult size head. Luckily the student wearing the hat was almost adult size already.

This was a good hat. It was large, and it jingled with every move of the wearer's head. It comes flat, and it's hard to make it look full, so we stuffed it was cotton balls. That fixed the flat problems everywhere, except at the crown of the head (because the cotton balls would fall out, if you had them there). We still enjoyed it!

This hat is ridiculously fun! Purchased for a company party and everyone wore it after a few drinks...probably not a good idea LOL. The party pics were outrageous with this hat. Great memories!
