I paired this with the army green double skirt that's also made by Scarlet Darkness, as well as a shirt by them (though I did tuck up the dangling sleeves, as they got annoying after a while). I also wore some puffy pantaloons (different brand) underneath, to give the skirt a little more oomph while also giving the me the benefits of shorts under a skirt.The corset top fit true to size, however, you definitely need to firstly loosen the laces until the ends are almost falling out of the holes, zip yourself into it, then tighten the laces back up, taking care to position the modesty panel evenly.I was comfortable for a full 6-8 hours. It's definitely plastic or cheap aluminum boning, and it's just enough support that I didn't need to wear a bra. I did have to discreetly adjust the girls after sitting down and standing up, however. Keep in mind, this is a corset top. It will smooth out your figure nicely and provide some cinching, but it is not an actual corset and the zipper and laces are not strong enough to give you a truly snatched waist. But, as a fun costume piece that makes you feel pretty and feminine during the Renaissance Festival? It's perfect.

As a plus size woman it’s hard to find ren faire-esque clothes that fit, but this company gets it right! I’m 5’2”, 240lbs and very busty, a UK JJ cup (US N cup) with a bigger tummy.It was a little hard for me to zip into because I don’t have full rotation of my shoulders (I’ll have help day of), but once I got it zipped up making adjustments with the lacing was quite easy and there was still plenty left over at the end to make a nice long bow. I did some testing after bending over to grab stuff and felt very secure!Definitely recommend letting out the front lace as much as you can at first, then temporarily tie it in place til you’re both zipped in and have your shoulder lacing tightened where it needs to!

This corset looks and feels like a handmade Etsy item! And for the price, it was an ultimate steal. The material is sturdy and thick, really a wonderful quality. The front and shoulder ties are completely adjustable, do you can make this as tight or loose as needed. It zips up on the side, which makes it fit very nicely. I got the blue floral, and the color is just as beautiful and vibrant as it is in the listing photos. I wore this to the renaissance faire and it was absolutely perfect. I will definitely be buying this brand for next year's faire!

I should have just gotten my normal size. 5'8" about 180lb, my weight is more in my belly and hips, bra size 36c? This was a last minute order. There isnt anything particularly wrong with the corset other than i had to completely alter it overnight to be able to wear it for a last minute invite. Reviews/ amazon indicated i should get 2 sizes up which ultimately ended up being several inches too big completely laced. I did measure myself and was worried like most things from amazon it would be too tight in my normal size. Im always between sizes. Everyone said it was small. Buyer error? Idk i probably could have sized down depending on the day. I would have returned it and gotten my normal size had i not needed it in a pinch. I basically had to settle on wearing something else or make it work. I chose to make it work and alter it because i really wanted to feel pretty that day. The corset would have simply fit better all round had i gotten it in my normal size. The alterations were not exactly by the book for a corset. It did match my nuetral cottage core vibe i was going for to attend ren fest. It is a beautiful piece, ribbon could be better, should consider lacing it differently. Its not like stiff stiff boning and it did want to bend some as the day went on but i couldnt shrimp slouch as easilly in it either if that makes sense. I would probably buy again but id also be more thorough when i choose my size next time.

I bought this 1 size below what I needed due to my size being out of stock. I'm also pretty busty, and yet it still fits quite well. Compared to some of the other corsets by this company, this one is definitely not their most stretchy, but it still fits pretty good. It's very adjustable, and the strings are very, very long. I had to find a way to hide the tails of the string inside the costume because they were hanging down to my belt even after making the loops big in the attempt to fix that. However, one could always cut the extra material.The material is thick, not soft but more durable, and the design is really cool. It's perfect for a ren faire or cottagecore inspired costume.

This corset is a classic! Wore it to The Medieval Festival and got a ton of compliments! I’m a 36DD and this kept the ladies perched up but still tied down and it wasn’t too hot either for walking around 5+ hours on a 90 degree day.Very versatile could fit over anything really given its nice lace up option. A little time consuming but worth it. Overall a good thick material with sturdy boning and a beautiful design(:
