Learning curve, but really cool
These are pretty cool and interesting. They do take some getting used to and playing around with, like personally for me they only really work if I am braiding my hair. It doesn’t really stay put if I am just wrapping it around like some of the stock photos show. But once you get the hang of it then they are pretty cool. Now price wise they are definitely higher than I think they should be. I mean they are literally just regular elastic pony tails on each end with a braided part that connects the two… no reason for them for be nearly $25 for 3 of them. But they are cool and unique.

Tames mid-length hair well
I have several ties like this, and I have really only found three big differences between all of them. The first is color, and that's just personal preference. The second is length. I prefer shorter ones since my only real goal is to keep hair off my neck, but someone with really long hair or someone who wants their hair wrapped more tightly might prefer a longer one. The third is how the ribbon in the middle is attached to the hair bands at either end. Some have lobster claws and some have the ribbon permanently attached to the hair bands. I personally prefer the former because then I can change out the hair bands if one snaps or if it's too large or small for my hair. I don't see much benefit to the band being permanently attached apart from it being cheaper to produce. I personally would have preferred to see these with the lobster claw clasps, but it's also a really minor detail that doesn't make much difference in an inexpensive hair item like these. I'm currently giving the bands 5 stars because they work well and they're just what I expected them to be. If they start breaking on me, I will re-rate.My hair comes to my mid-back or waist if it's not being too frizzy that day. I really appreciate hair ties like these so my frizzy, long hair doesn't bother me as much in the heat. They're also good if I'm doing something like using power tools that I don't want my hair to get caught in. The upper hair band is doubled and is about 2" in diameter. The middle part of the hair tie is glued together at the bottom hair band. The lower hair band is about 1 1/2" in diameter and just a single band.

For When Your Ponytail Needs the Security of a Mini Bungee Cord
These colorful SISYOUP spiral hair ties are the tool you didn’t know you needed to transform your ponytail into a solid, windproof cable that laughs in the face of normal hair ties. Need your hair to survive a motorcycle ride, a surfing session, or a wind tunnel test? These guys have you covered—just don’t be surprised if your ponytail ends up with a bit of “superhero cape” stiffness. The design features a double-loop band at one end and a single loop at the other, all connected by a braided stretch of elastic. So, technically, it works just fine for creating a “compact” look with minimal stray hairs and a bit of extra drama in the weight department. However, the process can feel like an engineering feat. Wrapping it neatly? Prepare for trial and error. Even if you nail the wrap, you may find your ponytail swinging like a dense, unified chunk, which feels a tad strange at first and is kind of the anti-ponytail experience. For hair prone to frizzing out at the first sign of humidity, this tie might be a fun alternative, holding everything in place while adding a pop of color. But if your hair’s long and you’re looking to move freely, be prepared for that single, bouncy mass effect. Worth it if you’re taming hair in extreme conditions, but overkill if you’re just headed out for a stroll.

Great for runners
I'm a runner and I have long hair. I've been looking for a method to keep my hair in place and out of my face when I jog. Although these hair ties are designed specifically for swimmers, joggers can also use them. They're quite easy to use, and they really hold my hair in place. I'm so grateful that I don't get struck by flyaways when I'm running! These work quite well, and I believe the three-for-one price is fantastic! If you know someone who enjoys going to the gym or jogging a lot, I would strongly suggest these hair ties! For me, they have saved my life!
