Season after season, the 1960 Arctix Men's Snow Sports Cargo Pants serve as an outstanding value priced ski/snow pants and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. Articulated knees allow for a more unrestricted range of motion and comfort as you climb, hike, or ski/snowboard. The adjustable waist ensures a comfortable fit, while boot zippers make them easy for on and off access over boots. Boot gaiters with grippers form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has cargo pockets for extra storage and an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, a zippered fly, and belt loops. They are water and wind resistant, and are machine washable.

Sent with zipper busted
Good fit, not too puffy or baggy which was the main thing for me, keeps you warm and dry in snow, but sent with a boot zipper sawn the wrong way that doesn’t work. It must be been obvious, as one sleeve was zipped up when delivered while the other was just open.

Leg length WAY too long - about 12 inches/30cm!
Am usually a medium/regular size, so bought a pair that size in the burnt orange, but found the sizing of these cargo pants the most way out of any pair of trousers (incl cargo ones) I've ever bought, which is about 100-200 (I'm not young!)..Also, the supposedly wide leg opening (courtesy of the zip on the outer) is NOT matched by the inner, which is actually an unusually narrow opening drawn even tighter by an elasticated cuff, so owing to back trouble & arthritis, I simply wouldn't be able to get them off without help - not great for independent living.Size apart, these seem very thick & warm trousers, suitable for winter sports, but personally I didn't like the rather stiff nylon leg lining - felt like it would be uncomfortable next to your skin for any length of time, esp if you get sweaty.Processing an immediate return - thankfully Amazon is now making this easier, no printer required.
