Excellent
Must read the instruction for power consumption, for this to work at high output you must have 20 amps to feed it. This is a excellent product used at any level I have it driving 2 15inch subs and I t will drive them clean and with enough volume to make you wonder if the speakers can handle it, will really drive it hard and all night without getting hot. Definitely will buy again

Brand new, turns on but no sound and no active light
This is very disappointing. I bought a behringer nx6000, didn't work on arrival so I returned and bought this one. This one has the same problem, turns on but no sound and no active light on the amplifier. I'm not sure why amazon is shipping out so many broken amplifiers. I paid over $1000 and its ridiculous that this pile doesn't work. I'm appalled at the state of the quality of items in this economy, absolute trash.

Great amp! Bought it as a test use for subs. Plan A was to buy another one and use the pair to drive a pair of subs with each amp. Plan B was to use it for tops if it didn't have enough oomph for subs. It exceeded my expectations and has been driving 2 pairs of subs for almost 2 years. I do sound for live bands and my subs are 8 ohm nominal but have a dip to 6 ohms so this is driving a 4 ohm load which has dips to 3 ohms. I have no idea how this would perform driving subs in an EDM setup, but for funk, rock, pop & country they run all day! UPDATE: It's now 9 years later and the amp is still cranking! Great investment!

IPR2 7500
I swear by Peavey DJ gear and I am impressed by the Peavey IPR2 7500. it's lightweight and more powerful than any amp I ever had. The 20amp plug caught me off guard, but as long as the room you setup in has the right outlets, it WORKS! You can't beat the price.

Great amp!
Lots of power and punch. Best of all its very light weight. Peavey has designed a very good amp at a great price.

Strong amp, but follows the same exaggerated faux ratings as car audio.
I like this amp. It blew up a custom subwoofer I had however it is physically impossible to get 7500 watts out of it. To do so with a 120 volt supply would require pulling 62 amps from a 20 amp circuit, which would not only trip a breaker but melt the sheathing right off of the power cord. Ohms Law is a matter of fact, not opinion, and I'm ashamed of Peavey for making the same ridiculous erroneous claims as cheap car audio manufacturers. Voltage x current = power in watts, period - end of discussion. It is physically impossible for an amplifier to make more power than it can take in, in this case it is 1350 watts max.

To thump or not to thump.
I was skeptical. I thought "What the Hell" and bought it.I connected it up correctly with a dedicated 20 amp circuit, hooked a couple triple 18 in cabinets in load, put on some Dubstep and dropped the hammer for 5 hours. I gotta say these amps can really set the shop in motion. The top end is a little brittle but for subs it gets an A. I can run a string of dissimilar subs in a line and it will run them all day long. A lot of fun. Get it.

Defective Amplifier!
I’ve no clue what’s going on with Peavey but this is the second amplifier I order, last one from another site. Received it opened the box, plugged it in then nothing. Wouldn’t even turn on. Returned it and finally got my refund after almost thirty days.
