It works !
I had bought these plug in, attract the insects with a light and catch them on the flypaper gizmos. They work! The only problem is, the replacement flypaper I ordered was not sticky enough to catch much. So I ordered this fly paper glue and smeared it on the useless replacement paper and voila ! Back in biz of catching the buz.๐ชณ

Itโs easy to apply
I wasnโt sure how much to use, but it worked well. There are flies stuck on the ball.

Messy, but it works!
I got this to paint onto blue Pepsi cans that I hung from shepherd hooks in my garden. Makes great deer fly traps! I have deer flies in my garden and I was tired of getting bit every time I went to pull weeds or harvest veggies. The bites are very uncomfortable and deer flies carry a variety of disgusting diseases. Nothing I had tried kept the deer flies under control - and I didn't want to use a bunch of chemicals in my garden. After doing some research, I learned that deer flies are attracted to brighter blues. I read about making your own fly traps with sticky stuff. So, I went to Amazon and found this product. I painted it onto some bright blue Pepsi cans and IT WORKED! Not only are there deer flies stuck on the blue cans, but gnats and other garden pests like the shiny blue cans too. So far, I haven't had bees get stuck on the sticky coated Pepsi cans - and I've had the cans up for a couple of months now. I can work in my garden without being pestered or attacked by pesky, biting deer flies. Plus, it's super easy to make more traps! This little can of sticky stuff goes a long way!

Eh, did ok but not as sticky as I was hoping. Caught more dirt than bugs.

Not the same as Tangle Trap Sticky Coating. Get the real thing!! Thank me later.
I bought the Tanglefoot Tangle Trap Sticky Coating first. It is the best. My 8 oz jar lasted about 18 mos. When I was low, I went to order more and it was sold out...... So I saw this kind and assumed they would be equal in every way. They were not. The packaging looks about the same, but upon opening, the brush, which was 1/2 as thick, had bristles which were going several different directions. So then I thought, no problem, I will switch the other one from the empty can into this can. Wrong thread and diameter of cap. I have used it a couple times since I got it and it is the messiest (and I am not afraid of a little mess) but this felt more like applying almost dried up rubber cement to my Solo Blue cups. it really wasn't that thick, it just didn't spread right. Like it feels like it "foams up" as you are trying to spread it out. Then you finally get enough on the cup to put it out and it works. Cleanup for all the drips (remember the brush bristles are all over the place, not a nice neat brush) now takes a while and feels like you are just smearing stickiness around. Look for my review of the Tangle Trap. Ordering more of that product now that I see it is in stock again. This can is hitting the trash can. I do not recommend this product. It will work, but it isn't fun to use.
