Review: Wrist pain gone since switching, wish I'd done it years ago - Switched to this after years of using a standard mouse and getting wrist pain from long days at the desk. The 57 degree vertical angle feels odd for about the first hour but after that your hand just naturally rests in a handshake position and it feels completely normal. The wrist pain I was getting has basically disappeared since switching. Tracking is smooth and precise, connects via Bluetooth or the USB receiver, and the battery lasts weeks between charges. I use it across two computers with the Logitech Flow feature which lets you move between them seamlessly. Build quality is excellent, it feels premium in the hand and the buttons have a satisfying click to them. It's not cheap but if you work at a computer all day it's worth every penny for your wrist health alone.

It’s really for people with bigger hands, mine aren’t small, but they could be with being a little bigger for easier use of the mouse. The desk/mat must be clear of all debris - it needs a very clean area to work on. This is helping me achieve my goals 😂 The flexibility of the buttons is awesome, you need to download the software and set that up, but I warn you, don’t try to be a smart Alex like me and maximise different buttons for different pieces of software- I went way too far and just got frustrated 😂 start small and build up to the art of many buttons that change depending on the software you’re using. I mean very clever and very cool, but maybe just get there at a reasonable pace to enjoy it 😂 It is very responsive, very comfortable in the hand for the most part - buttons just slight stretch occasionally for those smaller hands, but very easy to use and now I really, really enjoy using it. A: Can't quite tell whether or not you're joking. Nevertheless, you have made my day. 

So that this is a valid answer; no, the pointer will not appear sideways on the screen unless, of course, one looks at the screen from the side.

**Q: Does this mouse require a dongle, or can it connect to a computer directly via Bluetooth?**
A: they do supply a dongle, but i'm using mine through the bluetooth on my MacBook

**Q: Has anyone used this mouse for detailed cad work? ergo mice are often difficult for this purpose.**
A: I've been using the mx vertical mouse for almost 3 years for very detailed cad work in mouse-heavy programs such as Rhino and Revit. It's really precise, although if used every day the rubber-coated surface rubbs away leaving a dip where the thumb sits. No more wrist pain though!

**Q: are the buttons configurable for text editing such as zoom, copy/cut and paste shortcuts?**
A: zoom, yes, but not sure about copy-paste

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing mouse but doesn't last

Amazing mouse BUT ..... This is an amazing mouse. I work in IT. I had wrist pain regularly. I've used this mouse for over 3 years now and i did not experience pain a single time. It is also in a very good condition . Battery life is awesome. it can connect to 3 difference devices with profile selection button at the bottom of the mouse. It fits nicely in my hand (20 cm hands) . It is very precise and has nice weight too. almost perfect. ... almost here is the BUT. The only problem is that the mouse is now failing me. As others have described it, the drag and drop fails over time to the point it is now difficult to use. I'm now buying another one as i love it so much but i have to accept it is a consumable and doesn't stand the test of time.
