The jug on the left is my replacement jug, with the lid that I had from the original (jug on the right). Fits exactly the same. The jug blends the same and fits the machine as the original did. With my original jug the blade stopped spinning. The only downside is the price! But I am very glad to have proper smoothies again (I was a few weeks with lumpy breakfast smoothies, trying to use a stick blender - doesn't compare!). Review: original vitamix - original vitamix jug for the TNC blender, looks near identical except doesn't have the rubber grip on the handle (not necessary). It does feel slightly harder to put the black lid on than the old jug for some reason. If you avoid dry blending it apparently avoids the excessive staining of the jug that would happen otherwise.
