Like the other reviews said, it's definitely not a really FAST player, but I'm okay with the speed that it's performing.By the way it is much easier to use the remote control than the buttons on the machine, and note that this machine plays all region for DVD, but not the Blu-Ray. I double-checked it on the manufacture's website before I bought it, and it said the default setting is Region A, but I guess i should be happy that I can change the firmware if I want to play Blu-rays from another region/country!
