Yes, if you look through the Head opening and out the big hole at the bottom you can see through it.

Q: Is the seam at the shoulder flat, or is the material bunched up and stitched there like most tanks?

I would say flat and I have to say I have never worn better. Having found these couple years back, and after throwing out everything else, I just can't remember wearing anything else.
