Hanes Men's Woven Shawl Collar Robe

This was a father's day gift for my dad, and he absolutely loved it! He doesn't like those heavy velour robs because he gets warm very easily even during the winter months. The material on this is a very light cotton, that keeps your body cool during the summer and warm during the winter, but not so warm where you start to perspire. The color of this robe is also very pretty.

I like this robe. I'm from Georgia, and summers are hot. I wanted something light to wear around the house on lazy weekend mornings and this works. The GOOD: It is light and comfortable. The XL is mondo, as I'm 6'2" and weight 240 and this fits no problem. The sleeves are a bit above the wrists, and the hem hits a few inches below the knee (Both of which are fine for me). The MEDIOCRE: The material is similar to that of a men's dress shirt, so not a comfortable cotton; it's better after being washed. There is a collar that goes the length of the robe that is a pure pain to align correctly; I may have to put a stitch or two in that to make it tolerable. Finally, the overall impression is "hospital gown." Not a terrible thing, but still... be prepared. The BAD: none that I have found. I would purchase again primarily because I haven't found other options and this works.

Very nice well made robe. The belt is inferior- becomes a string after several uses, not to mention 1 wash. I would buy again, and have recommended to friends, after explaining the belt.

My dad absolutely loves this robe! It's nice and light weight, nice cotton fabric. Very well made. It looks like it will hold up nicely. I got an XXL for my pops, he has long arms and likes robes loose. The sleeves are longer than an average robe which is great with his long arms. When he holds his arms out straight the sleeves do not raise up his arm. The length is also good on his legs not too short or too long! Will buy another when they come back in stock.

After searching forever for the perfect robe, I think this comes pretty close. light, airy, soft and comfortable - this robe is almost like wearing nothing at all, yet keeps you warm when you need it cool when its the warmer months. Hugs the body perfectly and stylish too. The black is truly chic and almost kimono-like...it's a great robe, well made and comfortable, i'd even go out to get my mail in this - it's that nice. You won't be disappointed

The robe fit as expected; however, the material is so thin that you can see through it when held up in the light. My husband is hard to fit - he has very broad shoulders and is a large man - but for the price ($49), the robe is a disappointment.

It is light weight. But 100% cotton would have been cooler. It is made to fit really big guys. I am double X and this thing is too bug for me. Otherwise, nice product.

The perfect robe. But one warning: I bought the Medium Long and for a tall man the width/girth is a bit more than I bargained for. If you are not tall, the Medium Long is not for you.I particularly like the cloth, the shawl collar and the two pockets. Highly recommended.

For the price I really expect the quality of the fabric to be better. I bought this for a family that is a larger taller man, honestly it was embarrassing how cheap it was. The only positive is that it is large and long.

Doesn’t feel like I hoped it would it almost feels like a curtain but hopefully my father finds it comfortable and it’s a little softer after a wash
