So far so good
As of right now this machine is fantastic. I wish I can bring this machine to my work shops because it welds better than some of the higher brands. I would say this is at the level with miller and everlast. Not to mention it’s super easy to use, there’s no crazy settings as it may look. The only flaw is I wish it came with a better ground and all the knobs except for the welding current one, don’t show on the led red screen. It’s not a huge deal to experienced welders like myself however I can see for beginners it being frustrating not knowing exactly where your balance or pulse settings are at and how to really dial them in. Also I alternate between foot pedal and switch depending on what I’m working on and for some reason the switch trigger is very stiff and can cause finger to be tired over a few minutes of welding. But all in all a fantastic machine, highly recommend for professionals and hobbyists.

120v is useful with this machine.
I bought this to teach myself to weld. It is not too hard to do that, so I encourage anyone to give it a go.-- The packing absolutely lives up to the hype.-- The machine and accessories all appear to be very high quality.-- You can weld at least 1/8" Steel or Aluminum on 120v/20A. (I have stayed under 120 Amp, can be adjusted to 140.)You need a bottle, some wire to feed your welds, a helmet, gloves, a way to sharpen tungsten, and more tungsten (It comes with an unsharpened gray 3/16), a cart, acetone, Scotch-brite and maybe a grinder. I bought the cheap fold up table and it works fine, but splurge if you can. Bonus if you get some sticks for arc welding which is a heck of a lot of fun.I could not be happier with this machine.

Smooth, reliable, powerful.
I LOVE this machine! The price, accessories, and support are all excellent!Mild steel welds smoothly. Stainless welds like butter. Aluminum is loud, but this machine has no problem welding 1/4" aluminum.A water cooler and water cooked torch are going to be my next purchases.

Love it
It will never be a Miller, but at this price I don’t care. I’ve used it a lot in the three years I’ve had it and I’m happy with the performance at this price point.

Nice Welder, love the High Frequency starts and using the foot pedel.
So far this welder has met my expectations. I've only welded steel and it performed perfectly but it will take practice to get good at TIG welding. I have quite a bit of gas welding experience and that helped. Everything that came with the welder is good quality but there's more stuff to buy before TIG welding like an argon tank, cart to hold the tank and welder with space to store accessories. It only came with one tungsten electrode and three assorted cups. Stick welding works fine also. Had it less than a week so no comment on reliability yet.Everything was very well packaged so it'd take a pretty good impact to damage the contents. I have only welded with 220 VAC so far, haven't tried 110 VAC yet.

IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY
I researched this welder (comparing it to other Tig welders) for over a year. Any large purchase, such as this, I take very seriously and don't want to have buyers remorse, if/when I can avoid it.The biggest point in this review is to tell you, YES, THIS WELDER IS WORTH IT, after a month-ish of owning it, I can now say that I do not have buyers remorse and have been very happy with it. I have put it through 3 full argon tanks of welding (without any argon leaks). One of the worries I had, prior to purchase, was that I would have an issue and wouldn't be able to get decent customer service. I purchased myself this welder so I could teach myself to Tig weld. One Sunday night I ran into an issue, it was total operator error and my fault, and pulled up the website for primeweld, and input my information in to receive customer service. I knew that it was a weekend, they were closed, and expected an email (hopefully) in the next 24-48 hours. The next day, Monday, my phone rang at 7am (central time). I accidentally answered, thought it was a telemarketer, and hung up. An hour later, the same number called. It was the primeweld customer service rep, who was repeatedly attempting to reach me, to resolve the issue I wrote them about. I explained it was my own error, and apologized for wasting their time, and they were super nice and understanding. They had every reason to give up contacting me after I hung up on them (unknowingly). They tried, and most people would have given up at that moment. This guy/company DOES WHAT IT TAKES TO TAKE CARE OF HIS CUSTOMERS, EVEN AFTER SELLING THE ITEM.TLDR-the primeweld customer service is fantastic.Like I said, I've been teaching/taught myself how to Tig weld (have not done stick welding with it). I have done steel and aluminum, 1/8" down to 22gauge. The machine and it's abilities far surpass my own current abilities, and I have a feeling it'll be a number of years until I'm close to outgrowing this welder. I've been so happy and impressed with the process of Tig welding, and the actual welder itself, I highly doubt I will ever use my mig welder again. The first Tig project I did, to learn, was building the cart that it's sitting on in the picture. It's held together great. This welder has definitely helped me, making it easier to learn Tig welding than machines with confusing menus. I haven't ran into an adjustment I needed but didn't have.Oh, THIS WELDER INCLUDES AN ACTUAL INSTRUCTION MANUAL. it's not just an assembly instruction, it gives specific detailed information (57 pages) for people that are clueless and learning, like I was, and I was able to successfully teach myself to Tig weld steel and aluminum using the provided manual and google/YouTube. I included a picture of the manual with the review.I wasn't paid for this review, I wasn't given a discount for it, I spent my own money and paid full price. I'm serious when I say that I don't currently have a complaint about this welder. I'm genuinely impressed and overall happy with this, and would 100% purchase again if I could go back.

Let's weld !
Have not had a chance to fire it up yet, but from what I see I will be happy with my purchase. Fast shipping, and everything I will need to get going. Have friends that own this welder and I am sure I will be as happy as they are.

Reliability is a must
The prime weld machine has proven to be a reliable machine for me I do Mobile Welding and it comes through every time. Even after it has been abused, it has been dropped 6 ft off of a platform and still performs perfectly although it's a little dented up now. Still fires up and runs like a champ I must make more room on my truck to carry this important machine with me. It is lighter and more powerful than they extra high frequency box I have to carry to make my Miller Machine do aluminum welding. I am saving up for my second machine right now
