I wish I could have purchased just one but almost all similar items also sold in pairs. This is very well made and delivers solid percussion. I’m using it on my neck on the advice of my acupuncturist for chronic headache and am already feeling results after a couple days. Works well on my tight calves as well.

They feel great in the hand. The wooden handles are smooth and the balls have a nice weight to them. They are great massage tools. I highly recommend.

I let a friend borrow my ‘bongers’ and she never gave them back! These are a reasonable substitute since I can’t find the original bonger brand. They just seem a little stiffer in the ‘springiness’ and the spring seems a tad shorter, but they do give a definite relief on tight muscles.

I use them for leaning or sitting on, to press on pressure points. The ball is nice and firm for this purpose. I don't use them to bong. I use the stick to aim it. After you use it for maybe 6-12 months, pulling it in and out of areas with the stick, the ball does come unglued from the stick. The original intention-- just holding the handles and "bonging"-- I wouldn't think they would ever come unglued that way. I just buy a new pair after that. It's worth it to me. They work great for my purpose.

These are good quality massage tools that made me pretty freaking popular on vacation. They are also a good meditative tool for crating a balanced mind. I have found them useful to put one in each hand and bring them together in front of me with synchronized wrist motions. Just gently banging them together is calming. Bringing them together so they are striking each other at the same time, and not just the left striking the right or visa versa can be a challenge and helps build coordination.

Unbelievable how such a simple idea made such an amazing impact on my back pain! I have been doing quite a bit of construction around the house and I am now in my mid-50s. I was getting nuts in my shoulder blades that were very painful- I found using this product for maybe 15 minutes a night over the course of a couple weeks relieved the pain and loosened the knots- and I haven’t had to use it now but a few minutes here and there in over a month! Great product. Crazy how simple yet effective.
