Drain your ice maker and then fill it with the cleaner that has been diluted (4 Ozs. per gallon). 2. Turn on the machine and let it circulate for about 10 minutes. 3. Drain the unit, filled it with plain water, and let it circulate for another 10 mins 4. Draining it out and wipe dry. Hope this helps! **Q: How do you use it?** A: Place the machine on clean after it has been unplugged for 1hr or greater. I clean the inside of the machine very thoughly with wet clean cloth/dish cloth and just add 2 tablespoons of cleaner to the dampened cloth. I turn the machine to clean(back of machine) For the Opal machine best results, Mix 4oz with 2qts of water for every 2 week cleaning. If you have not cleaned machine in 4 weeks, mix 8oz(1/2 bottle with 2qts water). Remember you must rinse solution through machine with 5cups water x 3 cycles. Then I clean the machine as stated in book, 1 tablespoon of bleach to 5 cups of water let the machine cycle on cleaning and then rinse with 5 cups of water for 4-5 complete cycles. **Q: What if my ice maker does not have a cleaner button?** A: U put it in where the water goes and run a cycle of ice 2 or 3 times.
