Works great
We needed a new dehumidifier for our large basement, which is VERY damp. I got this one because of the metal exterior. It's very sturdy and does a great job. Once we got it down the basement steps, it was easy to move around, even for the older people in the house. We hooked up the drain tube and use the automatic draining feature. With that feature, note that it doesn't drain constantly - it waits until it is getting full and then whooshes all the water out at once. But you can force it to drain if you need to by pressing the right button. You can program it for a target level of humidity, and it also tells you the current level of humidity, which is interesting to know. It's a big improvement over our old bottom-dollar plastic dehumidifier.

Buy it if you need a humidifier for a basement.
This dehumidifier works and works well. It is heavy. Set up is minimal. Plug it in, set it, and walk away. Took 64*F 3,600 sq ft basement from 72% humidity to 40% humidity overnight. (I used a separate fan to keep the basement air circulating.) It maintains the 40% without a problem. The solid build makes me hopeful about the future.

Broken out of the box
Unit arrived today and I could never get it to turn on. Tried 4 different outlets and checked the power to each. I'm really frustrated because I really needed the unit to work.

Big heavy powerful!
This is a crazy beast of a dehumidifier! As a matter of fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one or used one this big. It removes a humongous amount of moisture from the air, and is rather quiet, given how powerful it is. It definitely has a commercial heavy duty feel to it, and I expect that it will last a long time. It is quite large and heavy, so be prepared that that is what accompanies its ability to remove so much moisture from the air. As near as I can tell, it has not made a meaningful impact on my energy consumption, but it does a great job.

Wow
Very impressed by this dehumidifier by Traver Force. I live in the Florida, and the summer humidity can be brutal, hovering easily at 80-85%. My problem is I don't really like central air, though I have it. I just never grew up with it. I did install a window A/C in my bedroom (I'm not a barbarian), and one for my office because of all of the electronics. The rest of the house I do not air condition. I prefer it that way, but there are times the humidity gets out of hand. So I decided I needed a unit that could do a large area, at least 3000 sq. ft at a minimum, so I finally decided to order this unit. Wow...this is the real deal. Assembly was a breeze, and it has two large rear wheels for going up and down stairs, but there are two smaller front wheels so I can roll it around as easily as a piece of luggage. Once setup, it's very easy to get going. The dials are easy to understand straight away, and the included drain hose installed in nothing flat. You can set a timer for it if you are not going to be around...nice. I would say noise wise, it is half the decibels of my bedroom A/C. It's pretty darn quiet. As you can see by the images I took it outside for better lighting and I am in the dry season now. The digital meter showed the humidity to be at 39%, so even though I told the unit to drain, it turned that off after a while on it's own since there is not enough humidity for it to gather enough water. I have no doubt it will be doing plenty of draining this summer. I also have no doubt it can handle my entire abode sans a few rooms. Very nice product...well done!

A powerful dehumidifier!
A powerful dehumidifier! I used this for jobsite work in Florida to dehumidify home interiors, and it works very well, easily bringing the humidity down from the 90% range to the 40% range when left to run overnight. It pulls a lot of water from the air, filling up nearly 2 5 gallon buckets from a home that was just under 3400 sq ft. The machine is fairly quiet for its size and is easy to move with the hand truck style wheels and handle. The water pumping feature is a nice option to let me get the water up and over a windowsill to the outside of the home.
