Can I use on shorter runs to help increase my distance?

A caffeine version may work but I'd suggest Tailwind is particularly tailored to endurance and keeping you going rather than boosting a short run. Of course 'shorter' run is the relevant term as my idea of a short distance is relative as is yours. If you're running and trying to increase your runs beyond10miles (and therefore running for well over an hour for most people) I'd say Tailwind will help give you a little boost.

However, if you're relatively new(er) to running and working to get from let's say a 5k to a 10k, I'd say you'd be better off with a cup of coffee and perhaps a good meal a couple of hours before.

Personally, if I'm running 10miles or less I will typically run in a fasted state. A simple way of thinking about it is that you run on yesterday's dinner not today's breakfast. Therefore you'll need sugar or caffeine to get 'quick' a boost.

Hi whats tge best way to take it during marathon and before marathon

A marathon takes me 3.5-4hrs so I need 4 stickpacks. Nothing pre-race. I run with a 500ml bottle in my waistbelt with the 4 sticks topped up with water and then take a mouthful before water stations and grab water to wash it down with. It makes a rich mix with a strong taste but it gives me all the calories I need for the run. Mike.

Can you mix flavours for longer distances? For instance, for a full marathon can I mix 3-4 sachets of different flavours in my hydration pack?

You definitely can, the flavours, with the exception of Raspberry Buzz, are very subtle.  It is common for users to mix flavours
