My favorite. I buy it over and over. But it rankles that it cosgts much, much more than other brands that are almost as good.

THERE ARE NO "CONS" FOR THIS ITEM, WHATSOEVER! - I ALWAYS GET THIS PRODUCT, EITHER EARLIER THAN USUAL OR RIGHT ON TIME... NO EXCUSES! - BUT... BEFORE I SINK MY TEETH INTO IT THOUGH... I HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT I'M ALONE, BECAUSE THERE ARE THESE LITTLE "MUNCHKINS" HANGING AROUND ME, CALLED: "GRAND KIDS" THAT ALSO LOVE IT TOO, AND THEY ALWAYS "HI-JACK" MY SALAMI TO THE POINT THAT I'M GOING TO HAVE TO EVENTUALLY GET AFLAC ITALIAN SALAMI INSURANCE, TO REPLACE MY RIPPED-OFF SALAMI! - LOLOL! - I'D LOVE TO DO A TV COMMERCIAL FOR YOU GUYS! - NO ONE COULD RESIST THIS SALAMI, IF MY IDEAS FOR A TV COMMERCIAL WERE USED! - ALSO... I grew up eating this salami it was the best you could get when it was made by the original company now its owned by a place in California and ita not the original recipe it does not taste the same as it did in the 80s and 90s it not very good at all.

Like a previous reviewer mentioned, this was available in Butte, MT in the 80s/90s. It was my dad's favorite, and he has been looking for it for years! I got this for him for Fathers Day this year, and he was thrilled. He plans to reorder. It might be slightly different from the original recipe, but we didn't notice and it is delicious and comes well-packaged.

This is the best salami ever made. My husband and I grew up on this but we can't find it in Butte Mt. anymore. Thank God I found it on Amazon. We will be buying more but this time we won't share with anyone!!!!

I expected so much more, that at least it would be superior to the 4 oz. packaged product available at my local grocery store. It is not. It is greasy and bland. It so lacks that sharp salami tang that its flavor is totally masked by a light coating of mustard.
