Pencils arrived in a polythene bag not the cardboard box that is shown. This means I can’t keep them neatly.

Great pencils
just love the ergo feel-but USA does not carry this brand-get them from the UK-just discovered other triangular pencils in the USA now.

Beware!
Initially seems like the perfect pencil: the triangular barrel is very easy to grip and this is further enhanced by the non-slip plastic coating. However, after a few weeks the coating becomes sticky and the colour starts to come off and stick to your fingers! Artists should steer clear of these pencils as it's all too easy for the sticky blue gunk to be transferred to your artwork! And it's almost impossible to remove.So, insufficient R&D done on the durability of the coating. Or perhaps Staedtler just want you to throw away most of your pencil and take a new one out of the box? If so, that's not only horribly cynical, it's also very short-sighted as no one will ever buy a second box!
