Well this is very cute and elegant looking, but unfortunately I do not like it in terms of effectiveness and overall design. The lip for sweeping crumbs onto is too wide (maybe I will file it down), and there is a hole on the back where all the crumbs can fall off as well. When I hang it, any slight bump will knock the dustpan off of the brush because there is no snap-in in this design - it just rests precariously on the brush ledge. Seems to be quite nice materials it is made of, but really does not do the job at all; would not recommend as-is.Really it is like a blank canvas to be filed down and perhaps tinkered with to fix the other design flaws, and in that sense it is actually OK - heaps better than a toxic plastic mini dustpan for thre long run. Maybe if you have a secure place to hang it where it will not get bumped and you only sweep up pecan shells or something larger, it would be ready-as-is. Also if you are into the tinkering and minor fixes then also a good option.
