STEER SMARTS YETI XD JK ADJUSTABLE TRACK BAR

My old Rusty's adjustable track bar bushings were worn out and broken. It caused the famous dead wobble. Also had the front track bar frame end bracket with the rear hole ovalized. I put this track bar in along with a Synergy frame brace reinforcement bracket and what a difference. By the way the two pieces work together just fine. Dead wobble disappeared and the steering wheel looseness got rectified. The only kind of precaution you have to take, is when positioning the sleeve clamps which are huge, may hit other component of the front end like the passenger side upper axle control arm bracket and your steering stabilizer, depending in your set up. This thing is beefy and if doing the install on the garage floor, be prepared to contort your body as well as say a couple of bad words and possibly strain your back when torquing everything up. But the part is solid!

I recently purchased the Yeti track bar for my Rubicon Jeep in January of this year. While the initial installation seemed straightforward, I've encountered some issues with the bushings. After only a few months of use, the bushings have shown signs of premature wear, leading to instability and a noticeable "death wobble" at higher speeds.Despite ensuring proper installation and alignment, the problem persists, which is quite disappointing given the reputation of the product. I would recommend potential buyers to be cautious and consider this issue before making a purchase.

As the instructions note, the bar is not compatible with all aftermarket diff covers. Make sure you test the clearance after installation.

Love this baddie, my first part on my ‘new’ and otherwise stock 2010 rubicon unlimited and it solved my death wobble and then some!Now this thing eats bumps for breakfast. Night and day difference and it’s adjustable for when I get a lift!

This item is beefier than I thought on the positive side. Installed fairly easy, minor adjusting but nothing extreme. Performs great and noticed a significant difference from factory track bar. A must on lift 3” and higher.
