Shruti (Anushka Sharma) is a 20-something no-nonsense girl from a middle class Delhi household. Focused and determined with preplanned ambitions, her goals in life are well laid out by the time she reaches her final year of college. Bittoo (Ranveer Singh), on the other hand, has no real aim in life. As a final year college student of Delhi University, he whiles away his life having fun with his buddies, barely scraping through his exams. A chance and inopportune meeting (or as you would call it, fate) brings the two of them together on a tumultuous journey where they become partners in their very own, "Wedding planning ka bijness". The rules however, are clear: "Jisse vyapaar karo, usse kabhi na pyaar karo" (Don't mix business with pleasure). Together, their friendship and business, enters the ups and downs of the lavish Delhi weddings. And while trying to find themselves, Shruti and Bittoo discover each other and realize that in the course of their journey, unke khud ke rules ki bajegi band!

close to heart
Excellent movie....after watching 20 times over the last few years, I never get bored with this one!!Direction, dialogue, songs, screenplay everything is down to earth..Not a pinch of overacting!

A favorite romcom
Sometimes, on a rainy day, a romcom is just the thing -- and this is one of my favorites, in any language. It is the story of two young people who become partners in a wedding planning business only to have their business relationship strained by feelings of love. Great music, dance, and banter fill out the story. If you have never treated yourself to a Bollywood comedy, this is a lovely place to start.

Surely worth watching!
This movie is certainly worth watching. The screenplay is superb. The main characters do not need any introduction as they are well established in the film industry and both Anushka and Ranveer delivered their best.Honestly speaking, the movie feels fresh, youthful and entertaining at all levels. Some nice songs too. Final word is that It’s a romantic comedy that has been done correctly. It has tons of entertainment value, but also has heart felt warmth at its core characters making this an very good movie to watch.Rating the movie watching experience with four stars!

When I first saw this movie, I thought to myself...
When I first saw this movie, I thought to myself, who are these actors? But after watching this film I ended up loving this movie and the actors! This movie is a about how the main characters deal with mixing business and pleasure, while trying to run their own business! This is a typical Bollywood movies with lots of lights, sounds, vibrant colors to really draw you in to the romantic world of Bollywood!
