Water stands in the beds around it and we tend to have an abundance of mosquitos. I have to wait there in the morning with my son for the bus and it’s always a full blown mosquito attack. After one night of this light being on, I didn’t notice a single mosquito. It’s also great that it is both a normal porch light bulb as well as the bug zapper all in one.Revised*** I decided to try it inside since many people use it there. I put it in my master bathroom because I noticed a couple pesky mosquitos in there that I couldn’t seem to catch. 8 hrs later when I woke up both were lying dead in the bulb.
