My first cable was defective and they contacted me before I even had a chance to reach out. They quickly shipped me a 2nd cable which works great. Only design complaint is that the USB-C plug is SUPER tight jnto the USB port on the computer. Removing it with my hands was impossible.Otherwise, great product. The magnet is strong enough to prevent the cable from easily getting disengaged, but a pull disengages it and therefore provides security to my laptop. If mag protection is what you need this will work.
