A very practical and effective edge trimming tool
I have a couple of the other popular single and double edged trimmers and they are always difficult to use. Whenever possible, I use a router or even my table saw with a jig specifically for trimming the edges. This is the first practical and easy to use trimming tool I have seen. It's easy to register it to the edge of the workpiece and the blade is pretty sharp, slicing through even some of my thinner hardwood edge bands. The design is innovative in that the cutting blade extends about 4-5mm off the edge that's how one is able to follow relatively mild curved edges and still trim the edge band. The handle is pretty easy on the hand and provides a means of a firm grip and push against the edge. The cutting edge is easy to get to if it becomes necessary to sharpen it in the future. One can run the back (flat side) against a sharpening stone and a few swipes of the beveled edge should make it sharp enough, so this should last a very long time. This is really good value at this price.

Solid edge banding trimmer that gets the job done
I’ve been using this trimmer on laminate and veneer projects, and overall it works quite well. The stainless steel blade is sharp enough to smooth out edges and trim banding without much effort. On straight runs it cuts cleanly, and with a little patience it handles curves too. I like the feel of the handle since it gives me decent control and does not slip in my hand. That said, I did notice a bit of tear out on certain pieces if I was not careful with my angle. It is not a deal breaker, but it means I have to take my time instead of rushing through. Once I adjusted my technique, the results were much cleaner. For the price, it is a handy tool that makes edge work easier and saves me from having to sand everything down. Not perfect, but definitely a good addition to my woodworking kit.

Best Banding Trimmer I Have Found
This Imbot Edge Banding Trimmer is the best tool I have found to do trim and edge relief banding. It is easy to remove and sharpen the blade, which is ideal. The tool is comfortable to hold and use, making it easier and quicker to do the job. Much easier to use this tool instead of having to set up your router to do the same thing. This tool makes a great gift!

Built well
It cuts the wood edge band on our product well enough and is super easy to use, but there is to much tear-out for our product. Reason for 3 stars is because it does do a good job just not good enough for me. Maybe it would do alot better on other people's products so for the price it would be worth at least trying.

Easy to use & works great!
The Imbot Edge Banding Trimmer is easy to use, and it works great. It's compact/handheld, and portable/travel-friendly too. It's easy to grip/hold, and is versatile as well - it can be used for more than just wood trimming. The blade is stainless steel, sharp, strong, and durable. Overall, I think this tool is well made, well designed, and high quality - worth the price. I'd recommend it!

Wasn't very smooth
Tried this today on birch edge banding. It is very sharp but it still grabbed it in a few spots and started to cause it to split. The other thing I didn't love is it only has a blade on one side so if you want to trim in both directions you have to turn the tool around. I then switched back to my basic trimmer I have which is the little one on the right in the second photo. honestly that one left a smoother cut than this and this cost about 3 times what that one did. I did try the chamfer and got mixed results. It is very sharp though as I stupidly ran my finger over the blade to "test" it when I took it out of the box and it put a pretty nice cut across the finger. Don't do that. I admit that was my stupidity.
