gun was everything i asked for and more. Have fished with a carbine series before and this gun in my opinion was a big step up for not that much more money. The rubber buttpad extension piece makes for VERY easy reloads. Also a big fan of the fact that now the string loop is attached to the trigger mechanism. would definitely buy again if my current gun went bad for any reason. My only minor complaint is that the threading for the speartip is a little loose and the sucker tended to wiggle itself loose as i swam around resulting in several lost tips as i speared a fish. Kind of my fault for not checking the tightness of the tip as I swam around. Now I use a little bit of loctite and the problem has gone away.coclusion- excellent product for the money
