Surpassed my expectations. I'm thrilled with my new plant!
An absolutely beautiful and healthy little plant! I really liked the way it was packaged. It was planted in a small 2-inch grower's pot and wrapped up nicely to keep it from drying out. The box was long and slender, and the pot and wrapper were taped securely to stay in place so that the leaves and delicate stem wouldn't get jostled and broken in transit. BUt it wasn't so secure that it made it difficult to remove from the box (I've broken stems just trying to wrestle a plant from it's package). In the first picture you can see how the box was made especially for it and you can see the bubble wrap that protected it -loosely wrapped so it didn't bend the leaves and stems. It arrived as green and perky as could be and the soil was still very damp, but didn't leak at all. The first picture is literally right as I pulled it out of the box.The best part is that the soil has the distinct smell of Hawaii, so it was an extra special treat to open it and get a whiff of Hawaiian ocean soil scent! I've ordered many plants from Amazon (I might have a problem). This is probably the healthiest plant I've ever ordered, and it had the best packaging by far. I repotted it with some seashells and coral that I gathered from our last visit to the islands so it wasn't too homesick (Yes, I anthropomorphize my plants. Yes, I know this is kooky!). Anyway, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and I'm so excited for my little Kona baby to grow!

Beautiful Little Coffee Plant!
If I order another one of these I will consider faster shipping. This time we used Amazon's free 'snail mail' shipping and wow did the plant take a beating in the postal system. The plant comes all the way from Hawaii after all! But the plant was very well packaged and looks to be a healthy genuine Kona Coffee plant about 10" tall, leaves are strong and shiny.Apparently it takes around three years to grow beans. We'll see! There is abundant information about repotting them on the internet and an instruction sheet included with the plant. I tried to get potting soil with peat moss included. Good luck on that! So I used regular potting soil mixed with a little peat moss. I'll try to update this review in a few months after we see how it goes.

Disappointment and very small frail plant
The media could not be loaded. I purchased four coffee plants from different vendors. This was the most expensive one. My package arrived an i was exciting. Then open the sadest little twig of a plant. Weak and fragile. Was the worst packed and smallest plant out of all venders at three times the price. I only purchased out of memory of my daughter haveing a dog named kona. After the coffee. Mistake. I am trying to save the planet. But leaves have shriveled and brown. Doesn't look promising. But the others are fine.

Kona Coffee Starter Plant
Arrived alive and in good condition l, packaged well, after a long shipment and delivey time. Received with 3 leaves on top of ~8" stalk, sprouted 2 more leaves after 2 weeks. Growing in a pot with potted plant soil, outdoors during summer in zone 5b. Looks healthy but a lot of growth needed to make it more interesting.

Coffee plants - This is a great plant
Ok - Bought 3 from a vendor and they all died. My wife lovingly renamed them Rosenpalnts and Guildenfern are Dead. Bought 2 from Trader Joes and they lived 6 months and suddenly expired rather quickly.I have had the joy of the only thriving plant and it came from this seller. The plant is a year old and is doing great. I want to know how to raise it up because the pot is really large but I think the soil can be added if I raise it up.Will most likely buy from this seller again. Love my purchase.

Three Stars
Customer service is excellent, the plant, not so much.

Good but a little TLC needed
Plant came quickly from Hawaii to Michigan. A little concerned that two of the five leaves were wilted (shriveled and burnt looking). Still holding its own. Hopefully willing and providing TLC (Total Love of Coffee) dedication to keeping this plant going. Plant itself smells good in the house. Can’t wait for the flowers and berries, 3+ years might be a long time for coffee but here is to being patient.

Great customer service!
I initially had an issue with the product but the seller quickly and seamlessly rectified the issue and I’m so excited and happy with my purchase. The tree arrived with new/baby leaves! I would definitely purchase from this vendor again!
