I love this thing. I have two of them. The second is a back-up or might use on a set of keys. And remember, this is a pill case for Nitroglycerin tablets. These are very small tablets. For those leaving bad reviews because their pills don't fit, it's because you aren't using the case for the intended purpose. I do not like the ring that comes with the unit as it seems way too flimsy. I plan to replace the ring. Only reason I have not replaced the ring is because I don't use this case on my keys. I just try to remember to take it with me whenever I go somewhere. The main reason I don't use it on my keys is that at work or when home I do not keep my car keys in my pocket. I leave my keys in the change bowl or in my locker at work. As for the rubber seal. Some reviews say that the seal tares. I can see this happening over time. I hardly need to take nitro as my heart condition isn't as threatening as some other people. I am fortunate enough to not need my nitro daily. I might only use Nitro once a week. This means I don't unscrew the cap and ware out the rubber seal as often as someone who has chronic angina.

I bought this solely for my medication and unfortunately I have a roommate in my house that has sticky fingers. I've been super paranoid about him taking my medication or just taking a couple as it is high risk for being stolen. I got really tired of carrying my purse around with me everywhere in my own home and having a straight up heart attack when I accidentally left it in a room where he had a chance to take it. If any of my medication is stolen I cannot function. I am confident this is the answer to my problem. If somebody finds this, they can get into it easily with a hammer. But if you have a problem with pilfering or fear of, this might be a good option. I have tested the locking mechanism and I can't get into it without the actual key. I would need a few hours to pop it open with no evidence left. I've included photos of the pins inside and the way the key has different depth of notches... So you know if someone happens to try to put the end of a pen into it to unlock (its wider than most pens anyways) it will not unlock because some of the pins aren't even pushed down, and some are halfway. If you are worried about a person being able to open it if they just buy one of these sets of keys my honest guess is to say that they are manufactured the same considering the price. I will be buying another one of these and I will test that out and update when I do. But I would assume that they are all the same keys. This is not a magic safe. If someone is intent on getting into they will. I think even if you go with the stainless steel option they can still get in (I'm sure its even more difficult with stainless steel.) It just depends on your situation. If you have a situation like mine where you know they wont take it if there is evidence, it will keep them honest. I like that this is a black bottle as well so it is hard to see instead of a bright orange medication bottle. The plastic is thick and I'm confident you would need to smash it to get it open. I noticed a review saying that the tabs didn't work and you could just twist it open when its locked if you press down hard enough... I have tested this and my theory is they either had a defective bottle or they did not place the cap on correctly. It took me a while to understand how to lock and unlock it. And you can actually put the cap on in the wrong place and also turn the key. It doesnt actually lock but the cap stays in place so you think its good. To lock and unlock it there is a line on the cap that you line up with one on the bottle. It took me a few minutes before a figure that out and I was about to be mad about it like it wasn't working... Because it is a little confusing before you get the hang of it. Because when you unlock it to open it up you twist the cap and then the lines are not together anymore. So you cant just stick the keys back in to lock it even if you didn't even remove the cap. You have to lift the cap off (because you can't twist it back) and realign it. These is perfect for my situation and I'm very happy with it

First off it was delivered to wrong address had to track it down then when I finally got it I opened it and wow what a disappointment it was so tiny that you can't even put a baby aspirin in it

I was looking for a small pill keeper that I hang on a chain around my neck. This item was a good size, however, when I received and opened it the opening was so small there was no way I could fit my 2 small pills in it. It might be good teeny tiny pills like nitroglycerin. I cannot comment on its durability as I have used it.

I am an extremely forgetful person. I have to take meds daily multiple times a day but I also have two very curious. I am able to carry my meds around with peace of mind neither of them will get into them and accidentally ingest my meds. The mechanism on it to unlock was a little hard at first but it loosened up over time.

It worked well to keep my meds locked up away from any thieves. Just keep the keys on you.

I’m updating my review because after a week or so of using the lock jammed and come to find out it doesn’t actually lock. It can still be twisted and opened... I purchased this little beauty here for the purpose of Being able to keep a few small belongings safe. I was surprised when I opened the package because it’s actually larger, and better quality than I had thought it would be. It’s relatively durable and heavy. The only thing I don’t like is that you have to use the key to open and close it which isn’t really a big deal. Perfect for road trips or adding that extra layer of protection.

Perfect! About the size of a key so it isn't very bulky, fits just right on the key ring. Holds about six nitro pills which I swap out every 3 months for freshness. Very light weight you don't even notice it. I used to have one of those large ones that holds the bottle of nitro pills but it was so heavy and large that it was uncomfortable and very noticeable, I didn't like it at all. This one is just the right size. The cap screws snugly with the small, soft, round nylon washer. The rugged, metal case is stylish and looks nice. Had it over a year now and it's still like new.

Just plastic so easy to break, the lock is very heavy and difficult to open. Very overpriced.

my blood pressure pills fit snuggly in these and i can carry these on my key ring and keeps them dry and safe

I had to give this one star because no stars wasn't an option. I don't know what money or medication they think will fit into this, but it is tiny - it may suffice for a few grains of sand. Or maybe a small ant, should that suit your fancy. I could not fit the smallest of pills into it. Money? Forget it. Travel items? Not a chance. The build is thin and cheap. Pass on this.
