I had been wanting to upgrade our full size duvet to a king for quite some time but hadn't pulled the trigger until this duvet. Our previous duvet was a sateen one from Ikea, and while it was quite nice, I was ready for a change. Also- my hubby is a blanket hog in the night (rolls over and pulls the duvet with him) and I figured at least I could use the extra inches! I had scoured the internet for a duvet that hit a few criteria:1. 100% Cotton2. Understated Farm-house chic- ruffled edge3. Not white4. Less than $100Our dog sleeps with us in bed for at least part of the night , and stays in our room when we are out of the house, so I really was looking for a neutral, light colored duvet that wouldn't get dingy in like, one day. I also wanted something with a ruffly edge, a little French country chic, but not overly feminine. At the end of the day I debated between this one, and one from that other brand on amazon... queen something... that sold a comparable duvet but in grey and taupe. I settled on this striped one because although I didn't want white, I still wanted something with white accents and would brighten the room. The color of this is like a warm toned grey, and the ruffles are a warm toned white. I purchased this, as well as a comforter that was 100% cotton with a poly fill.When this arrived, I was so impressed by hows soft it was, there was no distinguishable odor. The packaging included a cute letter from the company- with poor English, but sweet nonetheless. I did wash both the duvet and the comforter before putting it on the bed. At first I panicked because I thought it would be too big for the comforter but everything fits great. The zipper is hidden and so easy to use. The only weird thing about it was that one of the stay ties inside it was made of a cheap fraying ribbon instead of the same cotton as the other ones. Not a big deal, just strange.With our particular comforter, the duvet is filled out amazingly. It's incredibly soft, warm and fluffy. We're the kind of people who like cold bedrooms and the fan on, so it works for us. The material itself is lightweight, but if you have a fluffier duvet, it's going to be heavy and warm- in a good way. Even though the comforter we bought is an all seasons comforter, this is so much warmer than our old duvet and comforter- which we had to supplement with other blankets. We don't need to at all with this one.My only complaint is that it comes with King shams. I have one king pillow that lives on the guest bed and that's it, so I really wish it had the option for standard shams. I gave them to my mom, who sews, and hopefully she can convert them because I would love to have the option of matching shams.Overall, would highly recommend!

The ties for attaching the corners of the comforter to the corners of the duvet all snapped off right away. I threaded in some new stronger strings and all is well. No further complaints. Has a functional well hidden zipper and it is soft.

I was searching for something 100% cotton that I could use without an insert as a summer blanket in the Texas heat. Then, fill with a down insert for winter. This was the perfect choice for me. The color is also a great choice because I can add pillows or blankets of any color for highlights whenever I am looking for a different pop of color.This is my first time to use a duvet cover, and I can see that I'll be going this route forevermore! It is the perfect amount of breathable cover for the hot, Texas summer.The fabric is super cute and gives just the right amount of feminine softness to my bed without going over the top. It has an inconspicuous zipper at one end to fill with a down insert for the wintertime. (Took me forever to locate the zipper!) I washed it the day I received it and put in in the dryer on the delicate setting. It looks and smells wonderful.I stalled for a long while before settling on this cover because I didn't want to spend the money. Now that I see it on my bed and have used it without sweating or overheating at night, I wish I would have bought it earlier.

The duvet washed up nice and color stayed. Not a lot of wrinkles. Material thin. Added an old quilt to make it more full and warm, if find more fluffier blanket, will add it, but isn't that the options with duvets?

I love this duvet cover. It is a comfortable soft cotton. It is lightweight which I love. I switch off between my lightweight down insert and my heavier one for winter. Highly recommend!!
