This product does great! I use basically a pea size amount and rub between my fingers and then scrunch around the ends of each layer and kinda twist rub the ends with my fingertips to style. Process takes maybe a minute compared to having to use a flat iron for 5+ minutes. The hold is great and it doesn't look greasy or clumpy, looks nice and fluffy. It softens throughout the day while still giving slight hold and texture. The best part is how easy it is to restyle later in the day, all I do is repeat the same scrunching and rubbing.Minus half a star because the scent is quite earthy and strong at the start. Not overwhelmingly so or to the point where it bothers your nose but you can smell the clay. It also fades throughout the day, but is still a little bit present. I just got this recently so I haven't been able to test to see if the clay is able to hold perfume to make perfume last longer tho, if so that would be a great bonus. I'll update on that later.Overall would recommend! It does seem comparatively pricey but the ingredients are all natural, the packaging is done with so much care, and I love their sustainability mindset! AND, the new essential oil fragrance is great! The Texturizing Clay outperforms the vast assortment of other products I have purchased in the past. Application, hold, and finish are unmatched and washout is a breeze (with shampoo). This product has a slightly looser hold and more matte finish than their Clay Pomade in my hair. I love them both. My hair is healthier than it has been in a long time. I think the new packaging is also great. I love this company's philosophy.
