It took me several attempts before I found this product, but now that I have, I like everything about it. The mounts itself are very sturdy so I expect them to withstand quite a bit. Mounting it was pretty easy, and once it was up, it was pretty straightforward to position the camera exactly where I wanted it. In addition, the mechanism for attaching the camera to the bracket seems quite secure, much more so than the bracket that came with the camera. I bought 3 of these brackets for my 3 XT cameras, and I was able to install all 3 of them in a couple of hours. This is the mounting bracket that Blink should have included in the box with the cameras!

These cameras are great very simple to install and the quality is good These are awesome for a cheaper alternative , renter, or someone that can't run wires to each camera I am very satisfied with my purchase and would defiantly recommend them to others I did purchase different mounts that came with hard plastic housings as well, and would also recommend these. I didn't try the mounts that came with the units as they seem to be flimsy also after watching many reviews on these cams a lot of people said the same … like" if the wind blows it would give false detection warnings" Again for the price, these cameras are a home run ! Disclaimer: I was compensated to write this review. With that said, I will do my best to be objective and write an honest review. The white silicon covers are great and fit well. For those wishing a more inconspicuous appearance of all black XT cameras, these covers are great. The mounts work well, too, but I'd add a note of caution to test the camera feed from the desired location and angle BEFORE screwing them into a wall. Here's why: The camera attaches to an adjustable arm which is secured in placed by a screw collar that tightens to hold it at the angle of your choice. However, once it is tightened the arm no longer moves up or down. There doesn't seem to be much in the way of play when it comes to tightening the collar meaning either it's on tight and the arm doesn't move or it's loose and the arm (and camera) just flop around with no resistance. This becomes an issue if you install the mount and the cut out on the collar to allow the arm to move up and down isn't vertical. When that happens the arm will only move side to side or an angle meaning you may not be able to align the camera to get the best view of what you're trying to capture. In short, assemble the camera to the mount. Lock into place and hold it against the wall while viewing the feed. Adjust as necessary until you're happy and only THEN screw the mount to the wall. Otherwise you may wind up with a bunch of extra holes in the wall if you have to adjust after the fact. A better design of the collar allowing adjustment of the arm AFTER tightening would be 5 stars.

We have owned Blink cameras for a few years now. We recently had a separate garage built and added cameras to the exterior. Unfortunately we didn't fully think through placement, and the first night we had a serious rainstorm that made the Blink go off like crazy. That morning I ordered this hard case and it arrived before promised, and has worked like a charm. No weather related notifications! It was easy to install since we already had the same mount which works great. Well worth purchasing!

I was disappointed that Blink didn't provide a better device to secure the cameras. The camera system is superb and works great. You can login and get immediate results and see view what is happening unlike the Ring Doorbell system which half the time you have to watch an advertisement with. That is irritating. Anyway I purchased the mounting bracket and this product secures the cameras better and protects them from the weather. They also make replacing the batteries much easier. I highly recommend purchasing this product and highly recommend purchasing the Blink cameras system. They say they're working on producing a doorbell also. I wish I had bought the Blink system before the Ring Doorbell because I consider it the Ring Doorbell a waste of money. Not only do you have to watch an advertisement but you have to pay a subscription. Whereas the Blink system doesn't have a subscription and it records video for free and you can download and keep the videos.

If you're mounting a camera outside exposed to weather you want something like this, much sturdier than the original mounts shipped with camera. This mount completely encases the camera, is easy to install, is very sturdy and secure, and provides a full 90 degree rotation to each side (180 degree total side to side). I'm very pleased with these mounts and plan to order additional ones, along with the sync module mount from same company, when I order additional cameras.

I installed these on the same day I got my cameras. Installation isn't difficult if u have the tools to drill the base into the wall or concrete, after that the process of inserting the cameras in and adjusting them to the base is as easy as turning things and clicking things in. After I plug them in it has been almost a good 2 years since I had to take em down again due to battery replacement and it's still kicking in my Chicago weather. My cameras were screwed in under a roof about 1 feet in length, but these cases kept my cameras looking mint condition so I have no complaints.

Mainly bought these so the black xt2 cams would be white. Quality isn't terrible but not as high quality as others I've seen, but for the price they are a decent value. Like others have mentioned they don't have the cut out for the xt2's speaker so if you don't want to have to modify it like I did (I just drilled out some holes in the housing to allow the speaker better projection) I would find a newer model that already has the speaker opening. I have only had these a short time so I don't know how well they will hold up yet.

First set purchased a year ago, easy to install, looks great and stands up great in harsh climate. Just purchased a second set for a friend. Great product and great seller.

Unlike the original Blink mounting hardware, these brackets are more sturdier and came with protective cases for Blink cameras, which I'm sure is an extra protective layer for cameras and batteries in long Canadian winters. Will see in time the quality of cases, but I am sure they'll last. Pretty good job, Sully!
