I'm satisfied by the quality of these tea filter bags. They're made of the strong, tightly woven cotton fabric that I've become accustomed to using, from different brands. I make many herbal tea blends and so I'm consistently in need of reliable empty teabags. They smell subtly of clean cotton, which is a good sign (some brands' teabags have an unclean odor). They're durable, and able to hold up to any kind of regular use, including in boiling water. I usually pack between 1-2.5 teaspoons of herbs in each bag and tie the drawstrings with a knot. Each teabag is able to hold a pretty large amount.When I make cold infusions, I usually pack each teabag with 3 or more teaspoons, which fit comfortably. Then I hang it inside a large, closed glass bottle, with the strings hanging out, and let it infuse overnight. This is a great method to bring out specific tastes and healing benefits from within the herbs.I would recommend these tea filters to those who love making their own herbal tea blends!
