Jet Lathe Stand, for JWL-1015 (719102A)

The only negative comment I have is the cost. They are far too much in love with this stand. Nonetheless, it is without a doubt the perfect stand for the lathe intended for mounting upon it. All the holes match up perfectly and the strength of the unit is amazing. It even comes with mounting holes for casters (which I did choose to mount) on a separate purchase.You may not like the price tag, but you will love the product.

Heavy duty, easy to assemble. Perfect for lathe. It did not have a shelf, but I hung a wire shelf I was able to customize real easy.

This lathe stand did not fit my Jet 1221VS as stated in description . The center square tube at the bottom prevented me from mounting my lathe because it was too short. Mounting holes on the lathe were about 29 1/2 c/c. The corresponding holes on the leg assembly were about 25 1/2 inches c/c. After spending nearly 5 hours on the problem, the situation was corrected allowing the lathe to be securely fastened to the leg assembly. I do not think that I was the first person to have this problem.

It was quite expensive and should include a shelf or wire basket to make use of the space between the tool and the base. It set up easily with no issues whatsoever and gets the lathe off my benchtop and gives me space again. But it could be so much more for very little investment by the supplier

Just not worth the price! Seriously? Three quarters of the price of the tool it supports?

Trash product, threads didnt match hardware. Cross beam can not attach. Sad... For so much money just a tap and die wreaks your pos product

Apparently the 1015 Lathe Stand made specifically for the 1015 Lathe does not fit the 1015 Lathe. I contacted customer support and they said:"I am not sure that if the stand was symmetrical on the bottom as it is the top that the lathe would set better. I think they use this stand on other units and is not directly make for this unit but it does the job effectively."If this is the case, then why do they sell it as a specific stand for a specific tool? An awful product from an otherwise decent company. Jet, you can do better. Try not to make such crappy products next time.
