This very heavy
Not really a fan trying to balance battery weight and the trimmer weight is more than I bargained for

GREAT and POWERFUL
This is Awesome, Cuts through much more than the adaptor that came with it. Is not necessarily lightweight, according to my spouse. Sturdy and durable.

Works as advertised
Works with my husqavarna perfect. I use it to clear thick brush by my pond. Much faster than I brush cutter.

Does a great job edging but falls apart while using
This review is for the edger attachment.Anytime I buy any piece of equipment, before I use it the first time, I check it all over and make sure all screws and bolts are tight. The first time I used it, everything was great. It does a really good job making a clean edge. Much better than the Black and Decker electric edger I've been using for years. The second time I used it, about halfway through doing my yard, it was rattling. I shut it off and went and checked out the problem. There are three little bolts that hold the blade guard on. One of them was missing and one was very loose and would've fallen out soon and the third was slightly loose. I had just checked that they were all tight when I started. Of course I couldn't find the screw that was lost somewhere along the 150ft I had just edged. I tightened the two remaining screws as tight as I could so I could finish the job.Last weekend I used it for the third time. Since I know these screws have been coming loose, I of course checked them again. Both as tight as possible. I am almost done with my yard when suddenly the blade guard is rattling violently. I stopped it and checked it. I have lost another screw and the final one was barely hanging on. The wheel that you use to adjust for depth of cut is also attached to the blade guard, so when you only have one screw holding the blade guard on, the whole thing pivots and just makes it impossible and dangerous to use.I have looked at Snapper's website and all over the internet and I can't find anything that says what the specs are for these screws. I contacted Snapper via Facebook and after a week they told me to call. When I call it says they are experiencing extremely long hold times due to the pandemic. Now I need to use the edger this weekend but I can't.So this seems to be a design flaw to me. If simply using it is going to cause enough vibration that these screws work themselves loose, that means you need to keep a bucket of extra screws for it or carry a screwdriver with you while you edge so you can stop and tighten it constantly. Looks like I'm back to using the B&D.

The protective casing of the nozzle is made of metal.
I compare this nozzle with the one I bought earlier. My old Edger nozzle has a black painted pipe and a curved one. As well as a shaft of twisted thin rods. In the new nozzle, the pipe is straight, light and the shaft is made of a solid bar. The protective casing of the nozzle is made of metal. Knife length is 8.6 inches instead of 7 as in the old attachment. Robust and big gearbox! This is an excellent nozzle, I recommend it for purchase.

Great idea in concept
Have a ton of Snapper 82V lawn tools that I've been very happy with. This seemed like a great idea to augment my yard tools, so I could do some edging. However, I realized quickly that this was a great idea, with poor execution. If you are trying to edge any significant amounts of your yard, the battery weed whacker, simply does not enough power for it. I found myself only being able to do small sections at a time, with the battery not lasting very long, and the motor running hot.I only used this twice, and it wasn't worth the time or effort required to edge. You are better off buying an electric edger with an extension cord.

Decent for Little Jobs
Bought this to use with my Snapper XD 82V trimmer. It's decent for small jobs. I tilled up a 35' x 10' section of yard next to my house to turn into a planting bed. It definitely got clogged a few times with larger clumps of clay. I ended up going through three 2 Ah batteries for the job, along with breaking out a mattock to pre-till some of it. Any larger of a job needs a real tiller, but I expected that when I bought it. For what it's for and its price, I'm happy.

Works with Greenworks 80V trimmers that are attachment ready!
I don't normally write reviews (I should). I took a slight gamble with this edger head as I have the 80V Greenworks line. So far I have a push mower (Costco) and weed wacker (Amazon Prime Day) in the Greenworks line. The weed wacker says it is attachment capable and Greenworks has an edger but I saw no way to buy just the head, I had to buy a whole new motor and edger head. I didn't want or need that. I have been reading that the Snapper 82V, Kobalt 80V, Menards MasterForce 80V are all made by Greenworks and most things are compatible. This went on sale for $77 and I grabbed it. It snapped right onto my Greenworks motor head and worked great. Now I can have the crisp lawn/pavement lines that drive all the bored housewives wild.

Fits on my Stihl KM110R Kombi power unit and Stihl extension.
I needed (wanted?) a cordless pole saw (I have an older corded one from when we had a suburban property) The Dewalt 20v unit looked promising as I would be using this intermittently but this and the Stihl Kombi pole saw were both very pricy (I have lots of Dewalt batteries and many Stihl Kombi accessories already). I also considered a used Stihl unit that appeared to have been used commercially.I noticed this unit for a reasonable price (127cad) and it’s also articulated which the Stihl is not.The unit appears to be well constructed but the packaging looked like it had been hiding in storage for awhile. Based on the packaging Snapper is part of the Briggs and Stratton conglomerate. The unit does attach to my Kombi system but it does not have an indexing coupler or insert depth line like the Stihl attachments. I drew my own line and ensure the unit is tightened down for securing.Happy with this unit makes it easy to cut off higher branches on my acreage.Note the bar oil leaks a lot out of mine when stored even for overnight, so I empty the reservoir before storing. Due to the reservoirs location it is easy to clean and then pour back into the bar oil container (not like my chain saws).Update: I recently bought the Dewalt flexvolt trimmer with the attachment capable power head. This pole saw attaches perfectly. BTW it still works great.Update : May/21. I also bought the cultivator to use with the Dewalt power head. Works great! Not the cheapest but the cultivator is well made and looks similar to the Stihl cultivator that lists 100cad more.

Works with Dewalt DCST972
I purchased this attachment to use with the Dewalt DCST972. I did find it a difficult to lock into place but it did click in. I had a small space in the garden with some small weeds to test it in. The attachment did manage to work up the soil with little effort on the "high" setting, to an acceptable depth for planting. It should work well for small gardens.

Works ok, Watch you angles.
Design is good, Angled head is an improvement. Reduces chance of getting pinched.Be aware when trying to cut at a 90degree head, the power of thechain motion makes keeping chain the cut in the difficult. Instead, try 45 degrees and go gently.Undercuts same issue.Nice that this fits in the older STIHL Kombi powerheads that have square drive cables.

Happy Customer
Thrilled to have purchased this cultivator attachment. Fit my square drive Craftsman power head/trimmer. Very durable and makes quick work in the garden.Only things I would note is that this will not tear up lawn, and the attachment is firly heavy. May need a strap or harness for prolonged use.Works perfectly as intended.
