2020 Subaru Outback checking in. I switched oil from a popular brand. I use my OEM oil filter with Liqui Moly. I notice it quieted down significantly the “normal” engine noise. Performance increased a bit. I did an oil change and the oil comes out clean unlike the brand I used prior is very dark at my 5K oil change. It convinced me for all future oil changes will be exclusively Liqui Moly.

This stuff is on par with AMSOIL and Royal Purple. IMHO this oil is an absolute for the horizontal configuration motors in Subarus. You will not see the burn off issues and it takes that light knock out you find on a lot of those motors after 100k.

I bought 5 gallons on sale for 26.39$ each I put in Acura mdx 2014 with Liqui Moly MoS2 Anti-Friction Engine Treatment i drove 2000 miles i still see 80% oil life on dash board super good oil I also use 5 w 30 liqui moly LL ON BMW 328XI 2014 I am not sure about amsoil or motul oil I am adding reviews after few months because the price went up from 25.69$ not worth it if the price is over 27$ I might go back to Castrol fully synthetic
