Just what I needed for my Elderberry syrup.

This tea is tasty. I ordered a 1 lb vacuum type cannister from Amazon and keep it in there. I mix this with my Kirkland Japanese green tea and honey in the morning. Since I take a whole conglomerate of vitamins, herbs, etc, I don't know for sure if the echinacea is warding off colds, flu etc. Between #C, cod liver oil tabs, echinacea & goldenseal, & Zinc, I manage to get to stay pretty much with no more than a sniffle or two during off summer months. No flu or pneumonia shot. I use one of those metal tea holders with a long stem to steep tea.

I've always hated the taste of echinacea tinctures, but the herb isnt half as bad. I blended it with Spearmint, Peppermint and Marshmallow leaves and I enjoyed it. It smells like a somewhat mellow herb and doesn't taste intrusive in flavor. However I wanted to blend it with mint leaves just in case.Remember, for an actual effective, therapeutic dose, usually a few steeps or refills is required, especially if you're already under the weather.Although I was always doubtful about the effectiveness of the old unsavory echinacea tincture, I'm hopeful these days that my new passion of herbal tea blends will do my mind and body some good.This is a pretty good bag of an herb with great benefits.
