I opened the box on these and must not have had a good hold of them, and they are slick, so my first game I am playing with these pretty cards is fifty four card pick-up. These playing cards are jet black with a rose type picture embossed on the backs. The fronts are a mix of gold and silver. Spades and clubs are silver, diamonds and hearts are gold. Each royal has a slightly different picture of the king queen or jack. And the two jokers are also slightly different. These are made out of PET plastic. They are thin enough that they do shuffle nicely. But they are sturdy and I don't believe they will get damaged easily; no bent or torn edges. These are of course waterproof. Even the box is made out the same material. You could leave these in your tackle box if you wanted to without worrying about water damage. It came with a certificate of ownership, whatever that means. I just like the design, the colors, and the waterproof nature.

I ordered these playing cards to be used as our "camping" cards to be kept in our camp trailer. I like to use waterproof cards for camping because they get so dusty, wet, and also covered in juniper sap. These cards are a striking black with gold design that makes them really stand out against the dirt and our camp table. They are made of plastic, so they are very lightweight, flexible, and slippery, making them easy to shuffle. I definitely recommend getting these as a deck to get messy, because you can just rinse them off without warping them.

These plastic playing cards are a lot of fun. They look shiny and cool, and are certainly durable enough for outdoor use on a camping trip, at the playground, etc.. They are great for younger players who value novelty above function. I suspect, however, that adults will find them more frustrating. The legibility of the symbols can be difficult to parse (diamonds and hearts very much blur together). And while they shuffle smoothly, they are also VERY slippery. Cards like this are great for large scale party games - things where cards get passed out once, then handled and traded throughout an evening - not for sitting, focused tabletop games like poker or hearts.

These cards are exactly what I was hoping for! They feel really sturdy, are definitely waterproof, and the design is gorgeous—much shinier and more striking in person than in the photos. The gold and silver detailing catches the light in a way that’s hard to capture in pictures. While they’re slightly textured, they’re still super slick, so they can be a little tricky to shuffle or hold onto if you’re not careful—but I’ve had the same issue with other waterproof cards too, so it’s not a dealbreaker. I bought these to keep with my camping gear, and they’re perfect for that. No worries about rain, spills, or damp tables. They look great and can handle the outdoors—highly recommend!

An EXTREMELY attractive set of playing cards. In luxurious black, it is water proof as described. It feels and looks like it would last a very long time. Even the cover is waterproof which is appreciated. The cards are matte, the print is silver or gold and metallic and shiny. It looks so professional. We plan to use it to play Nertz or other family games but it is just an overall beautiful deck. Would be great as a gift to someone like me who loves to play games with their family.AMAZING VALUE at $7. I can see them selling this easily for more than 10.

These look very nice and are a strong plastic make. The suites and marks are all with a gold color. With the black background, I can only imaging what they would look like under black light. This is a good way to bring "color" to a new game.
