Great little bit of kit picks up my local airport clear as day the kids love to watch planes come in on flight radar and listening to the tower communicate with aircraft

This was a great transceiver and will buy another, but the one I received was not transmitting on full power at any setting, low, mid or high. I benchmarked it against my TD H3 on 5w at a local repeater the H8 on 10w and the H3 made the contact whilst the H8 failed. I'll order another but this one is going back.

Nice radio for the price it's a little difficult to program using the software on your phone but that could be down to me it easily connects via Bluetooth and transfer speed is very fast it can be programmed from the radio but that's very slow to do its designed for a licenced radio amateur and it works well in that capacity its 10w power output on high the limit for newly licensed amateur it also has two lower power settings it works well on 2m and 70cm and it can be used on repeaters in my opinion the Airband is just a gimmick you can receive it but I can't find a way to program it in so the scanning function is useless it also receives normal FM and has a built in flashlight so for the price it's worth taking a look at

Absolutely Scrap. Stop working. Sent replacement stop working. Also i have bought 4g radios from their website.scrap again. Stopped working.stay away from tidradios. Another thing if you buy on amazon they try to help if you buy from their website they not help at all. They always asking where you bought. Plenty other radios i have bought never had issues. Tidradios are definitely scrap

Unit 1: The Tidradio mentions offline programming then segways into the app which requires an active Internet connection (see pic) which I won't be using. Ammendment: i have been playing with it abit more over 2 days, The supplier contacted me and mentioned that the app didn't require a log in so I gave it a go. After playing about with the app for about 30 minutes its not too bad does exactly what ya would expect and is a bit easier to set up multiple frequencies in bulk then upload them. Sound quality is good and the range and is about as good as any other small radio and I like the addition of the FM Radio function its a nice touch that and the transparent shell. Summery 1: If ya want fancy, cool looking tech, with an inbuilt FM radio this one is for you ^_^ Unit 2: I have the BAOFENG which does the same job without the fancy online bluetooth programming which in my opinion is built abit more solid (yes, I may have dropped it a few times). Summery 2: if want basic and ya don't want or find the Bluetooth setup or FM radio, id recommend the BAOFENG its alot cheaper and more of a solid build.

Ready to use out of the box, fantastic battery life, easy functionality, great for starters or experienced users, i was listening to the airport in 5 minutes, great product
