Tried a similar version of a Volvo dashcam last year and experienced several issues. Tried this model and everything is working well so far. Easy to install, just make sure to use the correct adapter cable that comes with the cam.

This is a very nicely designed, discreet dashcam for Volvo cars. I'd never seen dash cams that fit so well into a car model, but this one fits right in, and works well without blocking your view or changing the look of the dashboard. It was easy to install, honestly easier than expected considering you have to take the car apart a bit. The app works well, and you also get an included SD card for storage. Thanks to loop recording, you don't have to manually control this if you don't want to, and know it's recording in case anything bad happens. While it may seem pricey, this seems quite nice for a dash cam, and fits really well.

Needed a product for my vehicle when driving in the city and freeway. Clear pictures with the camera. Easy to set up, installs seamlessly with cable hidden. Working well and sends great clear videos. Durable looking product.Happy with the quality.

I purchased this for my 2025 Volvo XC60 T8 (plug-in hybrid) because it seemed like a fairly easy install without running wires in the headliner and elsewhere. That's all true. With a little time (about an hour) I followed the video instructions to remove the rear-view mirror housing, add the split power cable, and connect/mount the dashcam.The instruction video, while brief, does show all the essential steps; just take your time with supplied plastic pry tool to remove the mirror housing and related pieces. Attaching the camera, and putting the assembled unit back in place was also fairly easy. The result, to me, was something that looks like it was a factory installed. I installed a larger microSD card. The capacity is limited to 256GB, a slight negative.The dashcam itself, besides the memory slot, has two simple controls: a power button and another for capturing a photo. Audio alerts to when the camera / WiFi is on or off. However, recording automatically starts when car is turned on.The Skycam app gives more control, but seems a bit touchy. I sometimes had trouble connecting to the camera through its private WiFi network -- or I would have rated 5 stars. Otherwise, you can control the camera's resolution, download images and video, etc. The image and video quality seemed to match the specs.Shipment took about a week from China. But overall this was a good purchase, worked as stated, and was fairly easy to install.

I have been considering a dash cam for ages and finally made the leap when I saw this one was built for my Volvo XC60. Installation was a breeze with all the tools and connectors provided. Total job took just two hours including the app setup, much easier than expected. The quality is amazing and I enjoy swapping out the memory card just to view the images occasionally. It's good to know the surrounding area is being monitored and recorded in case of an accident when the video would prove invaluable. I won't drone on about all the functions of this device as they are listed in detail, however, I can confirm it works exactly as advertised!
