Extremely Impressed
I recently bought these for hiking the Haute Route in Switzerland in September, which is an intense multiple day hike. These deserve 5 stars and probably out compete the very top brands in the US and Europe. They are extremely comfortable while also durable. They are cozy warm when in cold conditions while also not causing you to overheat during the heat of the day or when climbing up the mountain for hours, which I was a bit concerned about since they are thicker than most other Merino briefs I tried. I think you could wear them in the summer without any issue. Perfect wicking performance and had excellent resistance to odor and bacteria growth, better than the other brands I tried like the REI Merino Briefs. I've tried a lot of gear and a lot of brans and I was extremely happy with this purchase.

great wool underwear
I have been a repeat buyer of this underwear in the past year. I love how soft it is, and how comfortable. I usually buy a medium size underwear, but with merino wool underwear, I tend to size down since it stretches out some as you wear it. Always wash in cold water, and hang to dry, and it should hold up pretty well. The people who leave reviews saying it falls apart, probably don't follow cleaning directions properly. I've never had an issue, and own 6 pairs of this brand, and 5 pairs of a different brand. This brand is my favorite.

Consistent high quality of Merino Tech but...
Comfortable fabric but a little uncomfortable waistband. I'm a big fan of merino wool and I own several Merino Tech shirts. These were my first briefs and I purchased them mainly for when I travel. They breathe, replel odor, and dry quickly when left to hang overnight. The fabric is of a good weight unlike some other made-for-travel underwear. I've worn these only twice but I found the waistband slightly uncomfortable by the end of the day because they sort of bit into my waist. I'll wear them several more times and update this review if they end up being okay. Having said that, I'd buy these (and other Merino Tech items) again.

Great!
My husband loves it. Bought it for an upcoming trip but he has started wearing daily already. Very soft and a good fit based on size chart.

Great for all kinds of hiking.
I got two pair of these for pretty much every hike I have done in the last two years. And includes Mount Saint Helens, the Wallowa’s, and all sorts of hikes, short and long in various weather. Light, durable, breathable, is to wash,. Basically a no-brainer. If there’s any area of opportunity, it would be to make the waist band not fold up, but then again you’re hiking. So deal with it. :-) it’s a great product, especially for the price.

Ok, but not great. Fabric was nice, but a bad overall fit. Too short in the rear, leading to plumbers crack.

Staying dry in Florida heat!
This is going to sound strange, but these are great for Florida heat. My husband always wore wool socks all year up north and his feet never sweat, even in summer. When you golf in this Florida heat, your butt gets wet regardless of what you put on. These keep any dampness away from your skin and we’re the only ones without wet pants! I wash these in delicate bags and air dry. They are expensive but totally worth it!

Durability
Nice fit and comfortable but they start to fall apart too soon. I’ve purchased 4 pair total but they start developing holes and separating at the waistband. The waistband itself has held up well as has the rest of the material but after about 8 months the holes and separation starts happening. My wife has been a champ at sewing and patching to prolong use but they continue to disintegrate along the waistband wherever she hasn’t patched.
