Very Nice Product
Purchased this fence for my mother who lives in a senior apartment building - she is on the first floor and has a small patio which she enjoys, however it is right by the front door of the building and while she has some bushes they don't provide much privacy from all the foot traffic near the entrance. This fence is working great by giving her a little more privacy as she sits on the patio. Since the fence is only 4 feet high it doesn't completely block her view of the front year but is just right to minimize people looking over while she, or we, have dinner on her patio in the summer. The panels are 23" each - and of course there is a small gap between them. It would be great if you could order panes individually to get the length you need but that is not an option.I was very pleased with the quality of the product - very attractive and good build quality. The product was very easy to assemble. We did not mount this permanently to any flooring or other items - it is essentially free standing and we bought some four foot steel stakes which we pounded about a food into the ground and simply used some of those plastic ties to secure the fence to the steel rods - which worked out great and is secure. Since this is an apartment we can't install it permanently. While they do provide the hardware to mount it to a wooden deck - I really don't know how secure it would be.To assemble you simply put screw the round hooks into the pre-drilled holes and attach the fasteners - it was very easy.REVIEW UPDATE: September 6, 2013 - I'm updating my review after having this fence installed for two years now on my Mother's patio. This fence is holidng up very, very nicely - after two full years of hot summers and bitterly cold Minnesota winters. Over time the wood can start to look a little faded which is natural however; I have applied some teak oil to this fence once each spring and once each fall and that really keeps the fence looking nice - in fact it looks brand new!! Could not be more pleased with this purchase - its an attractive fence that is holding up nicely.REVIEW UPDATE: June 2, 2014 - This fence is still holding up very, very well. I just applied another coat of Watco Teak Oil to the fence - simply rubbing it on with a rag. I've done this once in the Spring and once in late Fall before it gets too cold and this has really kep this fence looking BRAND NEW! Other than that we have done no other maintenance to this fence and it looks super share - espeically after the oil is applied as the wood can start to look a little faded after a winter or long hot summer - but the oil restores it beautifully. The wood has not cracked or anything - still super please with this purchase as a small, simple privacy fence for my mothers patio.

Very nice screen. About 6-inches shorter than standard outdoor garbage container.
This is a nice screen, well-made and sturdy. Purchased as a garbage can screen. It was not quite tall enough. We have it setting on pavers to raise it the required height. Wish it had been at least 6-inches taller. Read the measurements carefully to ensure it will work for your project. It is a nice color and very easy to assemble. It comes well-packaged as individual panels and hardware. Hardware includes L-bracets for securing to floor. We used them to secure to the side of the house. We also replaced 2 sets of the connecting bolts with rods tapped into the ground for stability. This is a very nice screen and meets our purpose.

Beautiful Wood Design to Hide Unsightly Areas
I bought this hardwood privacy screen as a means to hide the natural gas line at the back of my grill. Although I'm not thrilled with the set-up -- my husband is the one who insisted on buying this -- the quality of the screen itself is good. It's an attractive set of folding panels that matches the color of our red cedar gate several feet away. The brass hardware adds small but attractive accents. The panels must be assembled, and it took longer than I expected for my husband, who is quite handy, to put together. It took him about 30 minutes to do it.The screen is not high enough to provide real privacy for humans, but it can be used to hide unsightly objects or spaces. It comes with hardware at the bottom to fasten it to a deck. In our case, we need to find a different way to stabilize it on the ground.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I received a dreaded letter from the HOA citing me for my garbage cans being visible from the street from behind a metal screened gate. Oh the horrors. I bought this as a screen to hide them on the side of the house. There was some simple assembly involved and the hardware is heavy duty and good quality. I assembled two sets of two. Because it kept blowing over I used the included base brackets to attach one of the sets to a 2"x"6" lumber L shaped frame that I made slight larger than the screen's footprint. The other set I try to keep upright with paving stones but it doesn't work as well as the attached base frame. I use one set to hide the garbage can and the other to hide the pool equipment.

Perfect Screen for Garbage Cans!
Gorgeous, exactly what I wanted to hide my garbage cans and help keep people from putting their dog poo bags in my garbage cans. It was some what hard for me to assemble....more bulky and heavy. I'm pretty handy, and kinda enjoy this. But once assembled it was heavy and awkward to march it out the door and down the few deck stairs. I recommend assembling it close to where is going to be used. It was raining when I assembled it, so bad planning on my part. I wouldn't use it indoors, the stain has to much odor. It's beautiful and I get compliments on it weekly.

BEAUTIFUL ITEM BUT STARTING TO COME UNDONE AT THE JOINTS IN LESS THAN A MONTH!
This arrived in excellent condition on July 27, 2021. On July 30, 2021 it took my husband about 30 minutes to assemble( he is extremely mechanically inclined.) This concealed the unsightly pump and pool hoses we have perfectly. We received numerous positive comments about this.Today August 26, 2021, my husband noticed 3 of the 4 panels are coming apart at the joints. WE HAVE NOT HAD THIS UP FOR A MONTH AND IT IS COMING APART! THIS IS BREAKING MY HEART!We could send it back today- - the last day we are eligible- - BUT IT IS VERY HEAVY AND THE MAN THAT HELPED CARRY THIS FOR MY HUSBAND IS NOT A AVAILABLE TO HELP. FURTHERMORE, MY HUSBAND HAD MAJOR HEART SURGERY JUST A FEW MONTHS AGO AND CANNOT LIFT THIS TO PACKAGE IT (WE DON’T HAVE THE BOX IT CAME IN - - WE NEVER ANTICIPATED IT WOULD START COMING APART IN LESS THAN A MONTH!).I would have given this fence 5***** if it didn’t start to come undone. It is beautiful, solid, and did exactly as we wanted it to do - - conceal the unsightly pool equipment.I seldom write a review for at least six months to a year after receiving an item; I want to see how the item is holding up.My husband and I are extremely disappointed with this☹️☹️
