Fun little weekend project
The model arrived on time with no damage. Easy to put together needed a little putty and sanding but overall a fun little weekend project for the cost.

Good starter kit for WWI airplanes.
I've built plenty of models, mostly military vehicles and airplanes but this is my first foray and a WWI models. This was a nice fun kit to build and it's a good introduction into building WWI airplanes. You have to do a certain amount of planning about what parts go on at what time to keep from breaking delicate parts. I have never run rigging on a model before and that was a bit of a learning curve. What I did find is that the original quick drying thin super glue was the best for gluing the rigging. The supposedly quick drying gel super glues takes way too long and become frustrating. Now that I've built this one, I'm sure I'm going to build more elaborate WWI models.

Very well constructed
Nice size pieces so one can do details easily. Many pieces snap into place for easy gluing.

Must have patience
You will need to have patience and advanced modelling skills to build this thing. The machine guns by the way are upside down if you follow the instructions and I filed down the wing ribs to make it look more real and for decals to stick better but some won't stay on even then! Putting struts and wings together really tricky as is the rigging if you get the wing part right. The control horns are like pointy needles sticking up and how do you attach the strings??? This model (compared to Wing Nuts real looking ones) doesn't have enough detail but that's why it's cheaper!
