GenTeal Lubricant Eye Gel, Severe, 0.34 Fl Oz

Unlike the lubricants for dry eye, this product soothes your eyes immediately without the lasting blurred vision you get with the lubricants. It does not stain pillow cases or clothing. I do usually have to reapply during the night once because my eyes are just so dry. Lasts much longer than drops. I am having trouble finding the product right now. Am on the edge of my seat as it is really the only product I can say has worked for me long term. Love it.

i accidentally submitted my review for the Genteal Gel Drops without finishing it but if you read that, you'll see that I've had a long experience with adverse effects to other drops for dry eyes. Not GenTeals! I use this product right before I got to sleep. I had stopped using gels and ointments for Dry Eye Syndrome because they hurt so much and made it so hard to see in the morning. I have no problem with this Lubricating gel. It comes out of the tube like a thick eye drop. I have never awakened with blurry vision. These products are quite expensive but to me they are worth every cent because they are the first products that helped my dry eyes. I highly recommend them and I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

I put this in my eyes before bed and they put moisture in my dry eyes. I only use this before bed cause it causes blurring because of the thickness of the drops. I do like how my eyes feel in the morning. This is a great product. It was recommended to me by my brother in law.

Provided good relief to dry eye...neither great nor fair. Very comparable to several other eye drops I evaluated. Lasted a few hrs, as with others. Will buy other brands that are less expensive since 'no difference in efficacy'.

I keep a large supply of Genteal Gel on hand at all times. I've been using this product for over 15 years now and wouldn't go to sleep without having spread it in my eyes to keep my eyelids from sticking overnight. I also use the matching Genteal eye drops and they are fabulous for daily use.

I use GenTeal nighttime eye gel every night. I have for years. Great product and gentle on the eyes.Always remember with eye gel, versus eye drops, that it is thicker and gooey. If you don’t take off all your eye mascara, it will be gummed up in the AM. But, knowing that, this product is excellent for my super dry eyes. My eye doc suggested it years ago and I am still a fan.Highly recommend.

If your pooch has chronic dry eye, take note! This stuff is really good. Over the years, we have tried vet grade lubricant, prescription opthalmic solution, tacrolimus immunosuppressant drops and antibiotic drops. Each worked to varying degrees but ultimately had no staying power or side effects.Genteal is the real deal. We started with the Moderate solution, but in the dry, winter months, it wasn't enough for our guy. The Severe gel and ointment have worked wonders. We use gel in the morning and the ointment before bed. His eyes are bright as buttons. It has taken us 6-7 years of trial and error to get to this point. You should talk to your vet first, but if they approve, you may be very happy with the result.

Recommended by my eye doctor to use overnight for my severe dry eye. Soothing, seems to work quite well providing relief until the morning.
