Incredible Performance and Control
I replaced my Eero 6+ with the GL.iNet Flint 3, and the difference is incredible. The speed and coverage are noticeably better, and the connection feels rock-solid even with multiple devices streaming and gaming at the same time. One of the biggest advantages is the level of control you get. Unlike the Eero, which locks you into a more limited ecosystem, the Flint 3 gives you advanced features like built-in AdGuard for ad-blocking, powerful VPN support, and customizable settings that are easy to manage through its interface. Setup was simple, but it also offers tons of flexibility if you want to dig deeper and fine-tune things.Build quality is excellent, and I can already tell this router is built for the long haul. If you’re coming from an Eero or another consumer mesh system and want something with more power, privacy, and control, the Flint 3 is absolutely worth the upgrade.

My brother is satisfied with it
My reason for buying:I bought it for my little brother. His review about it is that it’s great and helped reduced the random frame drops on his Quest 3. It was easy to set up but had trouble finding out why some devices couldn’t connect at first. There were many functions that the device has that he doesn’t use. We notice that the range for 6G wifi diminishes if the device is in different rooms. So we left it in his room.Overall, it is a great product. It’s a great quality product, very little lag with great connection on the Quest 3, alright to setup, and could possibly future proofing your future devices in case they use 7G wifi.P.S. We have no devices that could connect to 7G but our satisfaction with the product is immense for our use!

A beast of a router — fast and flexible
This router impressed me right away. Setup was quick, the interface is powerful but still easy to navigate, and speeds on the 6GHz band are excellent. The 5× 2.5G ports are a huge plus for wired connections. VPN features are top notch, and the range covers my whole house.Pros: Tri-band WiFi 7, 2.5G ports, advanced VPN features, long range.Cons: It runs a little warm, so give it space.

The best router I’ve used so far
An excellent router, everything was easy to set up and adheres to good security practices, forcing the user to change their default password, network name etc. excellent signal strength everywhere within a 2 bedroom apartment, and built in wireguard, using mullvad on a 500mbps connection was able to more or less match speed with the non-VPN connection once you take into account overheads. Cannot recommend this enough, you can’t find a tri band router of this quality for this price elsewhere

Excellent value for high speed
So I started out with the TP-Link Deco WiFi 7 mesh with 3 nodes but it kept dropping out and causing issues with my equipment so I returned it. Total nightmare. So I decided to give this a try but I was worried about coverage with this single non-mesh unit as my house was 3400 SQFT but this thing has crazy strong signal! I have 1 gig fiber to the house and as you can see it’s almost at 1 gig up & down wireless to my iPhone 16 pro max. Also this router is installed in a wood cabinet with the doors closed during that speed test, see pic of the insane speed. Note that is within 20’ of router. Upstairs my speed was half (400 mbps) but still good enough for what I was needing. Setup was quick and easy, way easier than the more expensive Deco I just set up. Extremely happy with this purchase. Price is amazing for what you’re getting! Wi-Fi 7 tri- band MLO.

Exceptional Router
This is the best router I've personally owned, ChatGPT recommended it to me to meet my needs, I was hesitant because I never heard of the brand before, but after some digging, I was sold. Being a device with OpenWRT the customization options are unlimited. I have a 2Gbps down, 300Mbps up connection, on speedtest I'm actually getting 2.3Gbps down, 360Mbps up. Then on my phone: over Wi-fi 7 achieves 1.7Ggbps down, 360Mbps up. The latency on this router compared to my previous Asus RT-AC86U is also similar if not this router is slightly better seeing 9-10ms ping to the nearest metropolis. The router also has Adguard Home built in, so you can protect your network fairly easily even if you're not tech savvy. If Gl.iNet keeps making routers like this, I'll end up being a lifelong customer. The only downside I can think of that people might not like is, it's not great for VLAN, personally I don't use VLAN so it's not something I'd knock it down for.

In the world of high-speed networking, a router's true value isn't just in its specs but also in its real-world usability. My recent purchase of the GL.iNet GL-BE9300 (Flint 3) router was driven by a specific need: to seamlessly integrate my existing travel router.
